What have the Iranians said about this? The Iranians have said they are not talking about nuclear stuff and will retain control of the strait. These points are not on the table. This seems like more Trump bullshit. Trump is not even directly talking to the Iranians. Place your market shorts! |

I read on a tucker Carlson comment it may happen during the World Cup. I totally forgot that was in the US I hear more people talking about the Knicks playing the finals at MSG next week. Trump apparently wants to show up. I can’t imagine the nightmare with Secret service and the traffic in midtown next week. It may be more chaos than the RNC in 2004 when protestors blocked President Bush’s motorcade. For someone with so many assassination attempts, it’s strange that Trump doesn’t fear being in a sporting arena. Were the last ones stunts? |

Withdrawal from what? We didn’t even enter. We would lose so many soldiers if we sent ground troops and we all know it and neither Trump nor Israel can afford any more outrage or unpopularity. Every mountain is a fortress over there and their missile defense have caught on to our capabilities so much that even our aerial bombardment meant nothing after a week. Iran kept shooting down our missiles until we lost them all. This is the worst war in US history that Trump and friends are trying to memory hole this as not a war but a mission. |

Trump and the rest of the administration has been lying about everything for so long that no matter what the reality of an attack on American soil is, people will assume it was a false flag and they will assume somehow that Israel is involved. |

Yep. It is pretty bad. The Iranians want like 18 US military bases shutdown. Seeing how we can not defend the bases we will likely shut them down and leave the region. It will be prohibitively expensive to keep bases there specially without European bases as transit hubs. |

I think a false flag by Israel could be very effective in rallying the general population and public opinion against Iran. It would just have to be on the scale of 9/11 for it to work. I'm just surprised it hasn't already happened yet. |
