Read the text. They're moving to Canada - I'm thinking a west coast Canadian city which is only a 4-hour plane ride to LA.

I've flown shorter distances to get on a freaking cruise. They'll also be looking for excellent private schools for Archie.

In what way is this a win? They are still fully within the household in this plan. Meghan wants to run a high profile foundation and have a branded makeup or clothing line, not do the royal thing but abroad.

Why don't you read the original post that started all this. I won't make you go through the 200+ pages of threads but the haters insisted Harry be stripped of his HRH, his title, his funding via the Duchy of Cornwall, yada yada.

Looks like he's getting exactly what he wanted = a foreign home base in North America AND keeping his position and role in the royal family while traveling in support of Her Majesty The Queen and establishing 'financial independence' for his family.

Best of both worlds.

The Queen moves way too slowly for all that.

She'll be dead. King Charles III will be reigning and he has no cause to move against his son.

Especially if he wants to keep William in check and he also needs SOMEONE who can work. Anne is 70. Edward is 56. Andrew is like 63-ish.

That leaves only William, Kate, Harry, and Meghan. George might be all of 12 when Charles takes the throne and the other cousin royals Charles has been adamant will not play a role since the 1990s - Louis, James, Eugenie, Beatrice.

Maybe but honestly I've never seen a couple more in love. I think they'll give it a good go.
