Yes!! Ppl make the comparison to Wallis but they were told they couldn't marry / he had to abdicate. Margaret couldn't marry a divorcee either. Two generations later and Meghan is feted with the future King walking her down the aisle. T I can see how they could be viewed as extremely ungrateful and totally lacking perspective. |

Harry should have looked at how his great. Great uncle David, the Duke of Winsor--formerly King Edward VIII--was treated after he abdicated. Once you leave there is no coming back.
Harry and Meghan left because they believed they would make billions. It never occurred to them that the ONLY reason they were relevant was their proximity to the British Royal family. Harry was born into privilege that we were mortals cannot even imagine. Meghan is greedy and Harry has the backbone of wet spaghetti and chose to give up his privileged life. We all make choices and we have to live with the consequences of our choices. Harry is paying for his security every where he goes on his pseudo official royal tours to Africa and he can pay for them in England. He broke the cardinal rule--never complain,never explain.not even prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson have written tell all books. Harry and Meghan have won gold medal in the Whining Olympics as well as their never ending worldwide privacy tours. They need to shut up and live their lives quietly and just shut up. |

| Parents do not cut off kids. Kids tend to cut off parents because of abuse etc. Charles isn’t taking son calls and won’t allow visits. Why? He is mad Harry said his view of life and Harry is bringing up security issues. There is zero answer Charles can give to that. Oh his feeling hurt? Come on man. I cannot imagine a job being so important you would drop your kid who has problems as a result of your behavior. It is unbelievable. |

| Supposedly Charles spent over 500000 pounds on Meghan's wardrobe while they were working royals, not including wedding and engagement, which dwarfed Catherine's clothing budget. He told Harry he couldn't afford this and Harry sarcastically said he'd have Meghan sew her own clothes in the future. |

It’s 10 intense years. (Campaign through 2 terms). Plus post-presidency which is less intense. Versus a collective, slow set of centuries where their history is written. Charles and Harry have a lifetime of this. You don’t take “every call.” |

| Not a huge Megan fan. She is pretty and smart but a little too much telling everyone how to live but I am starting to see why she was losing her marbles. Being in a weird set up where you have to ask to talk and permission all the time would not be okay with 99 percent American women. She already had a career and money and this was supposed to be a good thing. No way it was good for her. I am sure she is like no way are we living in UK where she isn’t sure she will be protected. No way. |

Yes they do. Whether they should or not, parents cut off children. Oftentimes for religion or marrying the wrong person. Here, for Harry's choices and behavior. And quite possibly because of illness and lack of bandwidth. Harry is supposed to come back and apologize and so far, he doesn't seem to have figured that out. Charles is never going to beg him to return. And any day now, it will be too late. |

This has already been answered. With ongoing cancer treatment it is highly likely that Charles is fatigued put of his mind and does not feel like dealing with 40 year olds who have the mentality of teenagers. Go take a chemo infusion or radiation treatment and see how you feel about dealing with nonsensical people. |

My uncle cut off one of his three kids. On my husband’s side, his step father cut off one of his kids and the other kids won’t speak to him. Stop trying to act like this doesn’t happen. |

Whatever career and money Meghan had before marrying Harry is absolutely insignificant in comparison to the wealth, access and visibility she'd receive as a senior royal. |

Good f’ing grief. Harry and Meghan are in their 40s! They aren’t young. They’re toxic, and I’d bet folding money that all of Harry’s family and most of Meghan’s and her past disposed-of friends don’t WANT them back. I don’t think Charles or William even miss him at this point. I think Charles’ funeral is the last time Harry is back at an event, and he’ll go alone and that’s that’s Harry referred darkly to harm coming to “the king’s grandchildren.” Not HIS KIDS, for whom he is responsible as their father and guardian. Harry slayed NOTHING. He and his wife are obsessed with their titles and carry on as if they’re on Teen Mom, Royal Edition. All of this noise, the disastrous interviews, the splooges of raspberry not allowed to call it jam - it’s the death spiral of their dreams of being rich and never having to talk to pensioners in a depressed coal town in Wales. They’re losers. Hope the attention and manipulative and manifestly untrue stories of racism and abuse were worth it! |
