During the court proceedings, I just found JD more believable. With his slurred speech and stuttering and his unwillingness to look at her, he was able to bring out a vulnerable side that is often associated with an abused person. By contrast, AH displayed confidence (sometimes too much) and her tears didn't seem very genuine. She sure didn't give me the vibes of an abused person. Maybe both of them were coached to act the way they did. I just think JD performed better, maybe he was just the better actor.

Not according to the many women he dated previously. What is disturbing to me is you blindly assuming AH is the victim because she's a woman. Where are her wounds? She couldn't produce any except the ones with the bruises on her arms (the pics were photoshopped) and some pictures of her face with what look more like dark circles than black eyes. A friend of mine got a black eye from her toddler punching her accidentally, and what AH got was definitely not a black eye given to her by a grown man. She seems like a person who would document everything, where are her evidence? Where are the pics of her broken nose (she said she thought it was broken)? She said during her testimony that she got them but it was not up to her to submit them as evidence. So who is it up to? Her lawyers?

If Johnny Depp has such a huge fan base, it seems like he could get funding for some independent films, and his fans would no doubt pay to see the movie. Therefore he does not need Disney or WB to hire him, if they think he's tarnished.
