Charles’ mind is poisoned by Camilla is my guess. She seems like the ultimate evil step mother. |
Anti-monarchists with any excuse to bring this up |
People are annoyed that they left the British Royal family and complained bitterly about how the family is racist and unsupportive, and yet still use their titles. No one would complain more or saying that that they “were wasting it.” Ever hear of the saying, “it’s the economy, stupid?” This is “it’s the hypocrisy, stupid.” |
No that's just being human. She wants him and others to keep believing and supporting their love story to preserve their public image and their marriage. As far as title of a duchess, she is one so she has every right to use it. However, it's hypocritical to call herself one considering her stance on racism and colonialism AND being an American. |
Oh please. Not everything is the woman's fault |
and because she made a point to denounce and leave that world |
I am not a follower and she is everywhere |
My guess is that Charles sees it as he pulled out all the bells and whistles to celebrate Harry and Meghan's wedding, only to have them repeatedly spit in his face. At a certain point, parents label such a kid as ungrateful and focus on the child who shows some love for all the energy expended on the child. Now that Will has a wife and three kids, there are plenty of happy times, and the ungratefulness is not needed. There are only so many hours in the day, and drama gets really tiresome as you age. |
This^. Charles shouldn't have gotten into an arranged marriage by his mum if he loved Camilla and should've been a good father no matter how bad of a wife Diana was or how evil of a step mum Camilla was. |
Same way, Harry shouldn't have sold his family disputes to American media for quick million$. |
The dad should be an adult and see his role in this. Son felt the only way to get dad to interact was in the media which is sad. Dad should think hmmm I may not have a lot of time so I should fix things with my son and make sure my kids have a relationship for when I am gone. The security issue is one dad should pay for if government can’t or
won’t. Son’s mom died from lack of security. This is not rocket science. Do you love your kid or not? |
This post is clearly written by an American with no understanding of the British Royal family. I’m not saying it is right, the way they operate. But it’s stupid to compare Trump and Obama and their kids to the BRF. President’s wives are not required to stand on the steps of the hospital a day after birth and show off the new heir. The President doesn’t need to release a picture of his wife while she is going through chemo to stop all the rumors about her. President’s kids aren’t required to walk behind their mother’s casket in a parade-like setting through the streets of London. The kids don’t “belong to the American people,” unlike British heirs. They aren’t trotted out on their birthdays and special occasions. They aren’t like us. They have rules and have to put service before spoiled brat children that will leak everything to the press in a temper tantrum and threaten the monarchy. |
I think it's more that no one has time for constant drama. Imagine being them and wondering what tv show Harry and Meghan will be on next. Charles and Camilla don't do Netflix interviews and tv confessional talks. You cannot blame them for not wanting to deal with Harry anymore. |
He inherited or will inherit multimillions from his grandparents, mother and father and he and his wife made millions with interviews, Netflix, jams and books. They'll always have a source of income selling glimpses of their lives so they always live a comfy life and can buy private security. However, it seems they feel entitled to a much more luxurious life and protocol equal to his brother and SIL, which generates all the rage. |
