Should we ask women to stay inside and slather their face 24/7 with sunscreen to avoid any creases or lines? Do we ask the same of men???

My kids don't care if I have wrinkles. When I'm 70, they'll care even less.

We do actually. Attractive tall men are infinitely times more likely to be in a high-up elected position. Look at Macron and Trudeau - millennials fall over themselves for them. They get a lot of work done to keep up their appearance. It’s embarrassing when all of these world leaders are married to very attractive, put together, poised women and the world superpower gets stuck with..well..Jill.

Trudeau's wife is 46.

Macron's wife was a child predator.

I think Jill represents well.

I think we all get Macron's style but it is highly stylized and hardly natural. Jill Biden is athletic. Her vibe is and has been sporty, American casual. For her "cohort", i.e. ph.d.s, she is a beauty. People dress to match their personality. She looks put together, she just has a more natural style. There's a difference.

She does not have a PhD BTW.

She lacks style, IMO. I don't think she is "natural" at all. She just has bad taste.

She has stylists. So blame them.

I don't mind it. And it's not too tight like in the Trump years. It's fine.

Me too. It's Dolce and Gabbana - completely appropriate for Pride Month.

This dress was designed to reflect the colours and ambiences of Sicily with an abundance of patterns, and colours, but for Jill it represented the coming together of all communities which is what the LGBTQ+ stands for.

It was her way of flying the rainbow flag, without wearing the flag, or a rainbow striped dress.

Huh? Did you read the thread title? If so, why did you click on it if you don’t want to participate?

Awful! Jill has so much potential for great outfits. She’s is great shape for her age, attractive. She just needs a stylist…..for sloshes and hair. Her hairstyle is awful….wings!

And while I love the nude kitten heels she’s been wearing, it may be time to invest in more shoes. She’s on the stage for the next 3 1/2 years, she needs to up her game.

+1 Plus I think she manages to really toe the line between beautiful and well dressed, and relatable. Who amongst us hasn't shown up somewhere fancy with a Band Aid on our leg? Makes her seem like she was out biking earlier in the day, got a nick, cleaned up, and came in to meet the Queen. I love it. personally.

She's representing the US, not stopping in to see great grandma after a bike ride. It's very disrespectful to other heads of state.

How in the hell is a bandaid disrespectful? Are you in drugs?

yes, she does have a PhD. But before you can embark on a Breitbart loving rant with lies about her academic credentials, please take it to the Politics Forum where those with tinfoil hats are welcome.

Good grief, lady. She does NOT have a PhD. She has a Doctorate of Education (Ed.D). Your "conspiracy theory" claim is easily fact checked.

She desperately needs to lop off several inches of length to her hair. I think she's clinging to it to appear more youthful but it's making her look dated. It's too whispy/feathery. A chin length bob would serve her much better.

I agree. She’s still stuck in the era of Charlie’s Angels. She wants to be Farrah Fawcett Majors, but it’s not attractive on a 70 year old. Just imagine Laura Bush with the brunette version of Jill’s hairstyle. Not age appropriate, IMO.

That’s exactly what I think. A smooth shaped bob, longer and with a side part. I don’t like the feathered wings. The style falls flat as she goes about her day.

Honestly I don’t care for the dress, even on the runway model. It’s ok, but I think too busy overall. I like the silhouette of the dress, but the different patterns are jarring.

Because the Queen is well dressed.

It’s fashion, not personal. Did you say this on the 400+ pg thread on Melania?
