Why isn't there a thread for the queen? You don't pick on her, but you go after our first lady. Shame on you.

First of all, this thread was started by a Jill fan. Second, are you talking about the 95 year old Queen of England? Why would we discuss her fashion choices? In 5 years she will be 100. She’s lucky to be alive at this point, no disrespect or ill wishes meant.

Absolutely hideous.

I don't mind the dress. It's really just her facial expression.

+1. That dress hurts my eyes.

It's for a signing to commemorate Pulse, the gay club which had a mass shooting. It's a good dress for that.

It's like grandma pulled out all her fabric scraps with red in them to piece together a frock.

To PP, she was probably trying to relate to the kids by wearing the piarate shoes.

That's a good point

I love those shoes! They are fun. Plus, a bit of a nod to the marines, our modern day pirate fighters.

No, it's not. It is ugly and has nothing to do with a gay club.

Should we ask women to stay inside and slather their face 24/7 with sunscreen to avoid any creases or lines? Do we ask the same of men???

My kids don't care if I have wrinkles. When I'm 70, they'll care even less.

We do actually. Attractive tall men are infinitely times more likely to be in a high-up elected position. Look at Macron and Trudeau - millennials fall over themselves for them. They get a lot of work done to keep up their appearance. It’s embarrassing when all of these world leaders are married to very attractive, put together, poised women and the world superpower gets stuck with..well..Jill.

Trudeau's wife is 46.

Macron's wife was a child predator.

I think Jill represents well.

I think we all get Macron's style but it is highly stylized and hardly natural. Jill Biden is athletic. Her vibe is and has been sporty, American casual. For her "cohort", i.e. ph.d.s, she is a beauty. People dress to match their personality. She looks put together, she just has a more natural style. There's a difference.

She does not have a PhD BTW.

She lacks style, IMO. I don't think she is "natural" at all. She just has bad taste.

yes, she does have a PhD. But before you can embark on a Breitbart loving rant with lies about her academic credentials, please take it to the Politics Forum where those with tinfoil hats are welcome.

Oh leave her alone. She's in her 70s and looks fine for that. I'm always impressed she's still wearing heels.

That dress is current Dolce and Gabbana. The whole collection was like that, patched from the previous collections. Maybe bc of COVID?
