If those who voted first choice for Chase didn’t chose Snyder as second choice (apparently she told her people to only vote for her), then Youngkin will probably win (I’m assuming he’ll get most of Cox’s votes in the next round) and November will be interesting.

This is what I think too. Pete Snyder wants to portray himself as the candidate for education, which he hopes will help him peel off suburban voters, but he’s an inexperienced political lightweight compared to the top Democrats and will lose by high single digits, 8-9%, in the general. Youngkin would make the race much more competitive.

Snyder is inauthentic and cringey. McAuliffe would eat him alive.

I totally disagree. I would imagine that the Democrats do not want to face Youngkin or Snyder.

Youngkin would be tough for them, I agree. Snyder seems like a weenie with his fake-cutesy "conservative outlaw" schtick.

They’re salivating over facing Chase but I don’t think any of the others have them shaking in their boots, either.

All of these Trumphumpers don't have a chance in Virginia.

I believe Youngkin will win the Republican nomination and the general election. McAuliffe is a fake and voters will blame Democrats for school closings and the public schools’ embrace of CRT.

Is CRT officially this year’s boys in girl’s bathrooms? Keep trying and eventually you’ll stumble on a wedge issue that works

It’s CRT combined with the school closures combined with the threat of getting rid of advanced math. It’s a lot of things and people are getting concerned about Democrats not really supporting education. I don’t think Republicans do either BTW. But state and local R’s are going to use public education to try to peel off educated suburban voters who are concerned about the dumbing down of public schools.

I think they are a little nervous about Youngkin and Snyder. To be sure, nova has a comfort level with The Macker, so he’ll win.

I think Snyder ran a fantastic campaign.

As well, they should, even though these are local issues to the extent they involve school boards. Whether a business guy Republican can peel off enough nova center-leftists is very unlikely, but not impossible. He should go after the Asian vote. What hállenles re TJ was despicable.

Very excited to see Glenn Youngkin won the nomination! He seems like a decent guy and I look forward to voting for him.

Youngkin lives in Great Falls and is wealthy from his corporate career whereas McAuliffe is an old fart who lined his pockets from his Clinton-era connections. Terry is a limousine liberal who exudes hypocrisy and was barely tolerated as a carpetbagger the last time. Youngkin will win.

He still won’t say the 2020 election was legitimate.

Yes. Almost anybody but Amanda. Good call, VRP, on the convention vs. popular vote scenario.
