So who here went to the ballet coronavirus party?

Anonymous
Is this 3 hours total, or 3 hours every day for a week...? $500?

What I do care about is that the people that got sick or were exposed and potentially didn’t know for 3 days because she didn’t tell them and they all walked around DC and potentially exposed hundreds of others. People that don’t have great health insurance or the luxury of working from home in a pandemic. Getting that call that you’ve been directly exposed is terrifying - and the stress she put on others because of her careless party is disgusting. I’m frustrated that the city of DC isn’t investigating this and our contact tracing system is so incredibly bad that there was no way to protect us who live and raise kids around her. Millies patio has been packed, compass and Starbucks too. If you have taken the time to comment here - take the time to also demand the city looks into this - we should know how many people have it because of this. How bad it ended up being. There are rumors flying around about confirmed cases but we need answers. I’m sure many saw a party in NY investigated and offered subpoenas for people at a party who would not give info to contact tracers. If there is a prayer that our kids go to school in the fall we have to get our contact tracing figured out in this city - maybe it starts with this. This party and how she handled it after getting a pos was selfish and plain stupid.

How she handled it by having a party after getting tested, and being filmed indoors without masks for the party after getting tested.
Why was she tested? Someone willing to throw a COVID party who doesn't even offer masks to her guests would not get tested without a very strong reason. I want to know that reason.

She got tested BEFORE THE PARTY because she didn’t feel great and thought she might have it. Plain and simple.
Can you clarify whether this is scuttlebutt knowledge, informed knowledge or a logical guess? "Didn't feel great" sounds like a reason to get tested for someone who takes COVID seriously and went grocery shopping without a face shield. It doesn't sound like enough of a reason for someone who throws COVID parties for several dozen people and hosts summer camps. Unless "doesn't feel great" is a euphemism for some actual symptoms.

I could see "doesn't feel great" being accurate. Some people are still having a hard time getting a test in this country but she doesn't feel great and they give her one. I'm sure she never imagined that she could have it, but took the test. She probably didn't want to spoil the party or her mood by getting the results before the party - save that for after. So spoiled and out-of-touch with reality.

I don't buy it. People who behave this irresponsibly towards the virus don't get tested without an exposure or symptoms more specific than not feeling great.

omg I assumed there would be hired help but I still imagined she had coordinated/planned it. I love that it's a whole "boutique" kids activity company.

I just know that Candace has it. No confirmation on anyone else.

BURN.

You are not in her circle if you are talking to press. I don’t know her but the pearl clutching is dumb. How long did she wait to tell people? If it was a day, could understand if she was totally stressed. The party itself seemed like it was thought to be a good idea. Outside and tables not close-okay 8-10 at table instead of six but dam you guys are a hard crowd. FYI she would probably not give me the time of day and still feel this bitchiness is mean to her. Tired of people just acting holier than thou. Everyone is doing something wrong and should be punished forever. God who is good enough these days.

OMG. This post is the funniest thing on dcum today. Oh, you're an absolute riot pp.

I think 3 hours a day, 5 days a week, for $500 a kid.

The comments and tags to the post are very revealing whose kids were there.

Candace definitely also tested positive. Her kids also were definitely at the camp.

The mom who wrote "I can't wait til next week!" Oh, honey.

LOL they all have their accounts on private...

Oh no, "my kid is coming in hot next week! can't wait!" is the best comment.

How would you get confirmation on this? No way to know really if attendees had before party or got at party?

Don't be ridiculous. Do you expect the Washington Post to publish lab results? It's not a rumor if it's in the Post written like this

Then Bronczek, 37, was diagnosed with covid-19, along with a few other guests at the event.

Getting busted for throwing Covid parties aside, their lives look so charmed. They are so pretty and rich and thin. Their instas look like pages from a magazine.

Of course. They’re the popular girls grown up. Everything has always been, and will always be, easy breezy perfect for people like that. It’s the combination of inherited wealth and good looks.

Well I guess COVID was the great equalizer for Ashley, at least for now. It's one thing to be a fit frivolous and out of touch; it's another thing to be negligent and callous regarding the health of entire families. And poor Candace, if you look at her Instagram stories, she had a happy family until just a few months ago, but then her bubble burst. Divorce with young ones is never easy especially when your ex keeps the dream house and moves in your replacement.

The grass isn't always greener, friends, even when it's a manicured lawn in Spring Valley.

Woah!! So she hosted at her house a summer camp for kids the week before the party and testing positive?! Crazy.

For TWO weeks.

And she got her test DURING those two weeks! Can you imagine endangering all of those kids?

Well, it's not like those rich kids were ever going to join the military, or need an athletic scholarship for college, or ever need to do strenuous work of any kind in their lives [/sarcasm. I feel bad for those kids.]
