And you are destroying lives to protect Detroit. |
Those that want to stay home can do so. The world goes on without them |
Not showing spread as they are sheltering in place. Duh. |
That's because they probably were Covid deaths. Which was written on their death certificates or case files, but not reported to CDC. |
Sorry, this is a PUBLIC health crisis. Your actions affect my health. Whatever we do, we do it together. |
Your actions also affect other's health and lives and livelihood. Yet you are comfortable taking that away from others. |
THEN TELL THIS TO TRUMP! |
Probably? I deal in fact. |
Good, get testing so it's on-demand and see a few weeks of consistent slow growth in cases. If you open things up before those are met, that's an invitation for a further explosion in cases, which will lead to MORE panic and LESS economic activity than before. Also you need a plan to re-shut things down in case we get the SD Smithfield plant x20 across the country. I wonder how well SD can handle that caseload ... |
So either we go broke or we die. Maybe both, if we open back up prematurely. But you don't care, you just want the old world back, deaths be damned, cause they're all just old people or people with pre-existing conditions. |
Your rights end at the tip of your nose. You don't get to tell others what to do. What is prematurely? You don't know and they can't tell you. That's the whole point. Fear is a powerful means of control. |
Of course it hits urban areas first. Then who comes next genius? Are non-detroit residents immune or something? Don’t you understand that a virus will spread? Using your logic we never would have taken any action in the USA four weeks ago since it was worse in europe at that exact moment in time. Waiting until the worst happens before acting is the best way to kill thousands of more people. |
And this is the governors' fault? Trump has done no leading here save to botch it up even more. Tragic is an understatement. |
In other words, you just want your old life back, consequences be damned. Right? |
My old life is the same as my new one. I work out of the house already. I'm missing nothing I did prior. What I don't want is the consequences for millions in this country that unemployment brings. I don't want the hunger, the suicides, the homicides. |
