Trump’s visit will violate an order issued Monday by Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer, who directed that manufacturing facilities “suspend all non-essential in-person visits, including tours.”

Whitmer’s spokesman, however, said Tuesday that the Democratic governor will not try to block Trump from visiting the Ford plant.
