Now I say show the roster and coaching slate. I'm right about that too. I would love to be able to come back on here and say that has been solved too. For now, it's all a big secret. Transparency is the answer.

Let’s try it this way.

I click accept and you don’t click accept. I then email the coach and ask “who is on the roster?” Will he be able to tell me your DD is on the team?

That's fine. Email the people who accepted with whose on the team. Anything other than nothing.

Are you asking the same thing of other coaches who have offered your DD a spot?

Yep, other clubs can tell me who is on their roster. If MU says rosters will be released to players who accept offers by Friday, that's fine. Dragging this on forever isn't professional.

Have you asked George? What was the response?

Those other clubs you mention are done with ECNL and DA tryouts.

MU still has several more ID Sessions this week. There is no way they know the rosters yet. They won't know Friday either because even if they make immediate offers after the Friday ID Session the soonest they would know the roster is Sunday.

I need to know because I can't wait until all other options have tried up. And I know I'm not the only one. We are already late as a club to be doing this. Let's all be honest. Most of the roster will comprise current players. So release the roster for the players you have.

Often you get a good player who only shows up purposely to the last ID session so as not to tip off their current club. MU aren't fools. They want to see everyone this week first. Duh!

You are a newbie. That never happens. Make your own decision and stop wasting the time of MU. They don't care what you post here, or if you accept some other offer. If your DD were truly elite DA material, then you would know everything you need to by now from MU.

We are not a MU/WSVA family, but I could not agree more. The reality is that you want your daughter to play for MU or you don't. The reality is that you have to take a leap of faith and either trust the new leadership or say no and start making calls to other clubs. The advice given was to talk to parents at practice, and it is good advice. You should be able to figure out 75% plus of the roster that way.

Of course you are. You are the random ECNL parent who pops up from time to time to defend Spirit/MU. Not your club so not your problem.

So I guess MU is up to the same old tricks. It definitely has the same old PR campaign.

No, because of the absence of a roster or coaching slate.

As for the PR campaign, you're not fooling anyone.

Maybe. I've already been given extensions. But I won't drag this out forever. I wanted to give MU a chance to be different, to change. They have to show a sign. Townhall meetings are just words.
