Late 40s woman: age-appropriate men look so old

I’m a 40yo woman and I’ve found men 30-33yo are the sweet spot for me. Old enough it’s not creepy, young enough that they still look good. Most are grateful for an older woman and are more chivalrous than men my own age, who expect a nurse and a purse.

My plan is to have fun for the next few years until menopause hits, then quit men entirely. Don’t want to waste the time I have left on older, disappointing men.

Men had it right all along. Have fun playing the field, settling down is overrated.

Most 40-year-old men are healthy and in the prime earning years. In 40 years, they may be looking for nurses, honey, but not now.

Most likely, men your age do not need to put up with your nuttiness to be with a woman, leaving you to work your way through boys who have an incest kink.

NP - I’m 55 and last night I was at a dinner party and met a guy who must be 65 or so based on when he went to college. He looks 50ish with a full head of hair and looks very fit! We are both single so I’m going to be bold and call him. Too many guys my age are not aging gracefully

If you were hot, men your age would find you.

However, the fact that you are single and fishing for men 15 years older is a strong indicator that you are the one who is not aging gracefully.

They absolutely do expect that. Middle aged men want someone who will cook, clean, care for their kids, and pay for half their bills. I’ve had men quiz me on my cooking skills right after we met and then expect enormous amounts of gratitude for offering to take me on a coffee date.

Meanwhile, the last 30 year old I dated would bring me food, clean my house and car, and took me on vacations.

Doesn’t matter if they have a kink. Who cares? A hot guy who knows how to have some fun is better than an older guy who asks to split the check and asks you to babysit.

In your original post, you posted that men your age (40) were looking for "a nurse and purse." Now you are posting that they want someone to cook, clean, care for kids, blah, blah, blah. Nurses provide medical care, honey. They are not maids, and it is insulting to their profession that you do not understand that.

You are mad that men ask you about your cooking skills, but brag that you have a boy who cooks for you? Your narcissism is astounding. Too bad you are too slow to see it.
