Ah, I see. So when the Union wants me to fill out a survey or send emails or something else to advance its agenda, I’m supposed to do that. But I’m not important enough to see the stupid arbitration decision? Got it.

Btw, the union filed the grievance on behalf of all BU members, not just dues paying members.

Just join the union bro.

Sure, so they can use my dues to negotiate a CBA that’s not worth the paper it’s printed on? I have better uses for my money — like using it for toilet paper.

Somebody really has their panties in a bunch, don’t they? The hearts and minds of people like you will never be won over so why try? You are probably the 30 minute lunch defrauder marauder.

Oh, shut up. And crawl back in your hole.

Ok, GG. Too bad you can’t just answer the question.

lol, too bad you are such a troll.

So no answer, GG?

Can you seriously not figure this out on your own? It’s pretty simple.

Uh, no it’s not simple, GG. If a party wins a big arbitration, that party usually mentions it somewhere. Pretty standard. Even if it’s going to be appealed.

So you think we are making this up or something?

Yes. Or exaggerating.

PP you think they are lying about the arbitration decision? How odd.

What’s “odd” is that it’s been kept a secret. Like a bunch of 13 yo girls talking about who they have a crush on. So unprofessional and shady and weird.

So you think it’s professional to share the details of the union email on an anonymous listserv?

No. The details of the arbitration decision / written opinion. Learn. To. Read.

That this is so secret is shady as hell.

If your coworkers liked you they would send you a copy!

Haha, this! Even my manager has it at this point.

Keep telling yourself this as you commute for two hours a day. Tape the CBA to your windshield for good luck, while you pay your dues. Sucker.

Why so much fighting? Union member or not, this Chairman doesn’t like you! He doesn’t want you to telework. He doesn’t care about your family or other commitments. He is certain you are overpaid. He wants us all to turn on each other while he puts on his fake smile.

What PA is going to do is to offer 1 TW day per week to the Union and offer not to appeal the arbitrator’s decision. That’s all we are all going to get. Now to back to work, overpaid peasants.

One day is better than nothing. It could end up at 2 days.

This is spot on. Union will not agree to just one day. Problem for Paul is his Division Directors want to allow regular telework because those Directors are actually trying to get work done. And they recognize how many people are leaving and how low morale is. As a bunch, the Division Directors are good folks with common sense. Oh, and they themselves want to telework. So he can say no but he alienates his Division Directors in the process. Staff won’t ever like him but he has everyone rooting for him to fail.

I don’t know if the union would agree to even two days. They may want to keep the existing deal at least on paper as they go to renegotiate next time. Although I guess if they actually turned that down, they might have a revolt members.

Agree with all this. Also, the other two commissioners (while I don’t agree with them on most things) do not hate the staff and don’t mind telework. PA is the only one standing between staff and telework at this point.

I would be thrilled with two days and would be fine with that in the next agreement as well.

Then post the decision! Or is it top secret, like the RIF plans? Maybe I’ll just FOIA it, since I’m sure it’s on GG’s work email.

Hahaha you should. Seems like this is killing you. Clearly you have nothing better to do.

OHR literally sent email to all staff with the arbitration decision and noting the SEC had the option to appeal. it's not a secret. you sound like a disgruntled DRiP; so sorry no one cares about you anymore. guess the money has run out and you don't have a new job yet?

False. They did not send the written opinion. The details matter.

Surprised it hasn’t been “leaked” to Reuters yet. (Though it wouldn’t really be a leak bc it’s not a damn secret to begin with). Even the Epstein files are being disclosed. But not the stupid arbitration opinion?

They sent an email and attached the arbitration decision. Wtf are you talking about.

It’s not a secret. Majority of SEC employees are dues paying members so they got it I actually forwarded the decision to one of my friends who is a supervisor (so not part of the union). The fact that you don’t have it probably means that no one likes you.

Never mind. Found it in the dark web. So secretive!

(It obviously has not been circulated as much as posters say, else Reuters would have published it long ago, like they do everything else.).

You’re pretty naive. He can’t wipe his own butt without RV’s permission, so not sure why you’re blaming him. If he gets out of line or defies opm/OMB policy (even on a minor HR issue), he’d be gone. If you haven’t noticed, they don’t like disloyalty or obstinance.
