What development at 2013 level? Where those MYS 2013G first team players land is going to drive what happens across NOVA, especially at the remaining ECNL clubs.
nope. Especially after another club just locked down the girls who were playing up.

Wait, what are you talking about? 2014s playing up?

Starter/more play time in an average team is better than sub/less play time in a good team? My DD chose to be a starter. Not sure if it is a good decision? Any thoughts?

Honestly it depends on your kids mentality. In my opinion she chose the path of least resistance. In certain scenarios more minutes vs average comp as opposed to less minutes vs good comp can outweigh each other but as far as choosing to play on a worst team just to start is silly to me. I would've challenged my kid to play with the better team and earn a starting spot; worst case she doesn't become a starter but she'll have developed more due to training with and playing against better players. Like I said though, every kids mentality is different and that's for you to know.

Loudoun 2013 rolling with 17 players?
That’s more than some older ECNL/GA teams! Sure, they’re sneaking in a few 11v11 games, but U12 is still 9v9—so what’s the plan?
Rotate kids like a hockey line change? Might as well bring lawn chairs, ‘cause half the team’s getting real comfy on the sideline. Think twice before signing up for that circus!

Loudoun has always been quantity over quality. All a parent has to do is threaten to take their kid to VRSC and Loudoun will put the kid on the top team.

Been playing 11v11 since the fall and it's definitely more than a handful

If it makes you feel better about rolling 17 deep at U12, then sure, let’s go with that. Most top teams in the DMV keep it to 14-15

they play both 11v11 and 9v9 leagues. They have some girls occasionally playing with 2012. And 2014s sometimes playing with 2014s.

Looking forward to hearing LS red team’s Jeff Cup excuses. Best [fill in position] was playing up [fill in number of years]?

They got wiped! No excuses from this camp at least; got outplayed and outcoached.

Not surprising. “Top” DMV teams rarely do well when competing against truly national teams. Did any 2013 first teams show well?

Meh… goals were off free kicks, PKs and corners. All can be corrected.
