First, you post very little facts and instead seem to rely on rants. There are plenty of atheists who can articulate very compelling logical arguments, but you unable or unwilling to do so. There is a long tradition of atheist philosophical thought of which you appear entirely unaware. Finally, your writing style is overly dramatic and emotional which conveys low intellect and analytical ability. |
This is entirely ad hominem attack, and clearly you can’t post facts - which was specifically requested - to back up your claim or you would have. You fail. |

+2 All insults, no facts or “objective evidence”. |
I think that some religious posters want to prove (or at least show) that atheists are wrong about religion, then get frustrated when they can't. |
I'm not sure you should criticize someone else's writing style. |
Au contraire - most mainstream religious posters appear to have sought to explain why religion and science are not necessarily in conflict . They also get frustrated when ontological experiences and cultural practices are reduced to ridiculous oversimplifications and they are held responsible for all the problems in the world. There would not even be western science without the evolution of theological logic. Religious beliefs and practices (including atheism) cannot be validated or invalidated by the scientific method. That does not mean they do not have deep value to many people. |
Indeed. Why not? Seems like we've gotten to the point in the US where it's socially acceptable to respect people of other religions but not yet acceptable to respect people who are openly not religious. Seems to me that this won't change until more people who appear normal in other ways (dress, intelligence, work ethic, personality) acknowledge their lack of religion. |
I’d be interested to know whether the moderators of this forum are atheist since there seems a heavy bias towards rigidly atheistic mind sets.

Please - Atheism is not a religious belief or practice. Do not portray it as such. It's disingenuous and simply wrong, which you must know. Talk about getting frustrated -- sounds like you're still frustrated that so many scientists do not believe in God -- because of so many advances in science. |
I don’t believe that atheists are discriminated against in skill based jobs, and if they are, that would be illegal. It is not a matter of not respecting atheists in this forum but about taking umbrage at having the forum unnecessarily turned into a hostile wasteland with cartoonish oversimplifications about villainous religious beliefs and experiences …. |
I could correct nearly every line of your post but i will limit this to the most important one: Atheism is not a religious practice. It is the state of an absence of one. Just as not collecting stamps is not a hobby. |
It is a religious belief because you cannot prove that God does not exist. It cannot be done via the scientific method. |
That last line reflects your myopic world view. For many people, including my grandfather, stamp collecting is a hobby. Just because you do not share their interest or enthusiasm does not negate its value to others. |
Wrong again. Atheists don’t claim a god doesn’t exist. They simply lack a belief in one. There are exceptions and variations within the vernacular, but that is overwhelmingly factual. |
