Anyone with a middle schooler knows someone who is trans. Parents see what is happening and voted accordingly.

And that’s exactly my point. They’re not representative of reality. A middle school boy who thinks he’s a girl should not be in a girl’s bathroom or a girl’s team. A man who thinks he’s a woman should not be the U.S. Assistant Secretary of Health.

The original pp said few people know someone who is trans. But it’s become so pervasive in our society that many people do now. We’re letting confused middle schoolers take the lead. Reality matters to most Americans. Democrats lost on this issue.

Democrats have steadfastly refused any re-evaluation of themselves for decades. Their party takes most Americans, including their own voting base, as people to be berated for not getting with the Democratic Party’s program. But it’s not just limited to restrooms. That’s what you’re missing. Someone who pushes a transgender agenda has all sorts of plans to change this country, and voters view that as a negative change. Someone who wants someone identifying as a woman but a man to use the woman’s restroom is alarming to most Americans because of what they represent - crazy policies and a reduction in the QOL.
