College and University Discussion
|
The grubby status insecure strivers on DCUM would rather their insufferable conniving kids crawl into Penn or Cornell by hook or by crook than attend “unranked” Hillsdale and form deep meaningful bonds with classmates & professors and get the best undergraduate education in America.
That is a good thing. Hillsdale doesn’t want Godless phony backstabbing social climbers polluting the ethos they’ve cultivated. Enjoy your kid being an irrelevant middle class prole at their low Ivy. |
Are you really this naive? |
First, that was not uncommon among many of the Midwestern LACs of that era. Second, that was also before the school was hijacked by its present administration. |
You're either a troll or so far out there that the hope of your return to something approaching eminently normal is approaching zero. |
|
I'll admit that I'm experiencing a little schadenfreude reading this thread. The religious nutters from Hillsdale are so insecure that they are desperately trying to disparage Harvard. So humiliating for the tryhards.

Go back to College Confidential, nutter. |
Neither of those things are true. But your kind are all lying liars who lie, so whatever. |
Not me, toots. The plaintiffs. The fact that it studiously avoids Title IX is a huge red flag. I wouldn’t send my daughters there. Apparently other people agree — it’s one of the few schools that is majority male. |
| Hillsdale, yikes! Normal people from the coasts don't go there. How about Liberty U, is that a new official state school of the USA, lol. |
Patently false. Richard Greener graduated from Harvard College in 1870. Hillsdale was founded in 1844. A full century is generally recognized as 100 years, not 34. |
You workshy trolls have nothing better to do than Google and spam misinformation about a college you think is irrelevant and your fictitious kids would never attend? Get a life. From the Hillsdale website: “Enrollment 1,573 total undergraduates, 50% male, 50% female, representing 49 states, D.C., and 12 foreign countries, 28% from Michigan, 72% from outside Michigan; 96% freshman retention; 105 graduate students” |
I know a rich URM student-athlete who got into Harvard with a 23 ACT score. |
Translation: my kid was rejection from all of the Ivies, even Cornell. |
What are you talking about?? Hillsdale is ranked well. |
