#1 Good for the Hero’s girls for trying out for Capital. But in my honest opinion, makes no sense to leave one good program for another

#2 Going to be a lot of upset parents from many different clubs, but just Stars. Please do not forget that BLC 27 was ranked very highly last year and they all thought they were just going to be transitioned from BLC Blue to Capital Blue. Goes what, what wasn’t the case

#3 just because your team is ranked highly in middle school don’t mean it will transfer into their high school team. Middle school is very much an individual game. Meaning, if you have a couple of really strong players, you will be a great team. But that doesn’t transition to high school. You have to be a very strong TEAM player. This will hurt some of the girls that are used to always having the ball in their sticks and just going straight to goal with it

Agree 100% with 1). If you’re already in, you’re already in - be it Cap or Hero’s.

Hero’s players trying out for Capital better be very sure they will make it. Hero’s will know. Hero’s may not have a formal open HS tryout, but there are always private tryouts and your spot is never safe.

A superstar would not need to worry, but that player probably would not be changing teams anyway. A tryout would be more likely by a lesser player looking to improve her lot. But that is exactly the player who should not to be too careless about her spot on Hero’s.

The point is that a girl on Hero’s has already made it on a top flight team - both in ranking and recruiting. Unlike girls on Pride or Stars who have not checked that box. Capital is great at recruiting but at ‘28 likely will not be ahead of Hero’s in the rankings anytime soon if ever.

Not at the 26 and 27 level either. 25’s are an outlier.

The 24s data is no longer available. So let's look at the 25 class.

YEAR- CLUB- RANKING
2020-21 -Hero's 25 Green- #3
21-22- Hero's 25 Green- #5
22-23-. Hero's 25 Green- #11
23-Present -Hero's 25 Green- #4

2020-21- Pride 25 RED #13 And STARS #38
2021-22.- Capital 25 Blue- #10
2022-23.- Capital 25 Blue- #4
2023- Present- Capital 25 Blue- #1

2020-21 Skywalker 25 Blue. #4
2021-22 Skywalker 25 Blue. #4
2022-23 Skywalker 25 Blue #6
2023-Present Skywalker 25 Blue #8

2020-22 M&D Black #2
2021-22 M&D Black #3

All of the "Big Four"are in the top ten would like to see how Hero's 25 Green, Capital 25 Blue , Skywalker 25 Blue and M&D 25 Black did with recruiting. I am sure all four clubs did very well.

I agree. Just relax. What they are trying to show you is that the 28 are in a very similar situation as the 25

You can’t compare the 24 because the majority of that team came from stars because they were still combining with BLC then

My take from this post:

1. All four are great clubs.
2. Once Stars and Pride merged into Capital, they improved every year.
3. Who will the coaches be for all of the28 teams? Do the current coaches stay with the 28s all the way through?

I would not agree that Pride and Stars are great clubs if everyone is clamoring to leave in 8th grade. Capital has a great track record and virtually no one leaves Hero’s after 8th grade so clearly those two are great clubs.

Last I heard on the previous thread was that the Stars ‘28 coach will be the Cap ‘28 coach.

Will the Hero's 25 coach move to 28 Green?
