#1 Good for the Hero’s girls for trying out for Capital. But in my honest opinion, makes no sense to leave one good program for another

#2 Going to be a lot of upset parents from many different clubs, but just Stars. Please do not forget that BLC 27 was ranked very highly last year and they all thought they were just going to be transitioned from BLC Blue to Capital Blue. Goes what, what wasn’t the case

#3 just because your team is ranked highly in middle school don’t mean it will transfer into their high school team. Middle school is very much an individual game. Meaning, if you have a couple of really strong players, you will be a great team. But that doesn’t transition to high school. You have to be a very strong TEAM player. This will hurt some of the girls that are used to always having the ball in their sticks and just going straight to goal with it[/quote]

Hero’s players trying out for Capital better be very sure they will make it. Hero’s will know. Hero’s may not have a formal open HS tryout, but there are always private tryouts and your spot is never safe. [/quote]

The point is that a girl on Hero’s has already made it on a top flight team - both in ranking and recruiting. Unlike girls on Pride or Stars who have not checked that box. Capital is great at recruiting but at ‘28 likely will not be ahead of Hero’s in the rankings anytime soon if ever.  [/quote]
