| My middle schooler (Cooper) said kids don’t want to unmask because most people are worried they look uglier without the mask. |
| Just dropped my kid off at middle school and a hoard of about 15 kids ran out full speed into a crosswalk without looking as I was turning onto a side street. But at least they were masked. |
Interesting… can’t figure out if this is a good or bad thing… |
I’ve had this talk with my 8th grader. She didn’t know people had braces until halfway into the year. And masks have covered her pimples a few times. She said masks were good because of this. I wonder if you will see more girls keeping their masks. |
I think it's a bad thing, personally. And also the acne is probably being worsened by the mask. Vicious circle. |
That's horrible. What a sad commentary |
But, not surprising? Vulnerable age. It will take time. My daughter was hesitant on Tuesday. By today, she went unmasked. |

| My third grader said more people were masked Wednesday than Tuesday. I expect that by the end of next week, it will be the vast majority. We were trying to hold out until spring break, but if the majority of kids are not masked, I'm not going to force mine to do it. |
Sorry that auto corrected. UNMASKED. More kids were unmasked on Weds. |
Had 6 or so masked again today. Looks like that's where it might stay for a while. No issues between any of the students. Business pretty much as usual. |

Norovirus is going around our elementary school with gusto.
I have told my 3 girls to keep their masks ON this week. Fingers crossed that is helping kids stay free of these other germs floating around. Plenty of kids came out of our elem school today maskless. |
| 20 out of 24 kids at Woodson Pyramid elementary class are still masking. |
| About 80% or so masked at Oakton High |
