This is just another proxy fight in the war of Left versus Right.

I was personally hoping for a conviction, but some of the left-leaning folks I follow on Facebook are just so sad and outraged about this and, more importantly, they want to make sure everyone knows how sad and outraged they are. Meanwhile, 1,200 Americans died of COVID yesterday. It's hard for me to get too tearful about two deaths in Kenosha last year. It's hard for me to shake the sense that those two deaths are important primarily because they provide an opportunity to hate on political opponents.

Accurate reading. I do think people were also curious if facts still matter.

I think liberals are just tired of the threats of violence. The constant day-in/day-out assault on decency, Democracy, and civility from the conservative forces in our lives. The mass shootings that conservatives support. The storming of the Capitol. The QAnon bullshit. The never ending conservative policies that rollout to control women and families. Conservatives represent a small percentage of Americans and are an overwhelming power.

The root of liberals issues are that they were typically born uglier and weaker. They instinctively feel threatened by the world and are deeply hurt from youth. They seek out centralized control that they control to find safety. It’s highly psychologically based.

most of Hollywood are liberal. And they are considered the "beautiful" people.

Also, if they are weaker, then the fact that the "weaker" party seems a threat to you says more about you.

One could say that the ultra right have self esteem issues and little peckers and that's why they want to be able to carry semiautomatic assault rifles around with them - to make up for areas that they lack.

Well the consistent science shows conservatives to be more attractive and everybody inherently knows that anyway. It’s just common sense that the disadvantaged would seek out protection from life.

I used to be liberal and I quit being liberal because it seemed like the left was promoting violence and civil war. Civil War is horrible. It would mean condemning all of our children and grandchildren to poverty and violence.

I worked in politics and can guarantee that all the death threats were coming from Trump supporters.

I didn't realize people in politics were handling those investigations.

There won’t be a Civil War. How will you ever know who the enemy is?

You can spot them a mile away. And smell them further than that. Trumpublicans don’t have the best fashion sense or hygiene. It won’t be hard to figure out who the enemy is, and who to target.

So true, DP. I mean, just look at the beautiful, strong person Trump is.

Yep!
Only marries world class models and would TKO Biden within 10 seconds.

Biden can ride a bike at his age. Trump needs help down the stairs and drinks water with both hands. Also, pays porn stars because his beautiful model wife does not want to sleep with him. But sure!

Hey I’m sure Trump would love to fight Biden. But then he may accidently kill him so he would have to be very gentle.

To protect a car lot from these rioters who wanted to burn the cars. Because he interfered with that, they went after Rittenhouse and tried to kill him.

Was he under 18 at the time? Why was a minor carrying a semiautomatic rifle and why was he trying to protect the car lot? Did his family own it? That's crazy that a 17 yr old was there with a semiautomatic.

It’s legal in Wisconsin

If he didn’t have it he would be dead trying to protect the car lot from being destroyed

+1

Rittenhouse is an idiot, shouldn’t have been there, shouldn’t have been carrying around a gun. But NONE of those things are illegal. I understand that many people WISH otherwise, but it just isn’t so.

OMG, LOL. How delusional do you have to be to think Trump would love to fight anyone? He's a coward through and through, did not workout a day in his life, and eats fast food on the regular.

yes, but why would a 17 yr old, a minor, carry such a weapon in public, and why did he feel the need to protect that car lot? A life is worth more than a car lot, either his or anyone else's.

We allow 17 year olds to join the army and train with M-16s.

Which is sad, right?

didn't say it was illegal. I'm just wondering why he was there with a semiautomatic.

And it's crazy that a MINOR can carry that type of weapon. Scary.

The mainstream media is hopelessly biased to the left.

They are literally fake news. If this verdict makes you angry and confused, you’ve been horribly mislead by what is essentially propaganda: MSNBC, CNN, NPR.

They are not telling you the truth.

I thought you had to be 18 to join the military?

But, even so, yea, a 17 yr old having that kind of weapon is crazy to start with, but at least if you are in the military, access to it is more controlled, and there is forced training.

From what I understand, training is not required to own a semiautomatic for civilians. That is nuts, even more so that a minor can carry one.

Republicans just act violent.

They’re impotent cowards. One day they’re going to be shown what real violence looks like. I can’t wait for that day.

Key point missing in this case. So the kid is innocent, and I respect the jury's findings. However, putting a 17 year old in a situation that he took 2 lives (and no, I don't care what 'type' of lives they were) and significantly injured another is something that kid is going to have to live with the rest of his life. I would hope the people that put him in that situation understand how they have horribly changed his life too. That's what I'm left feeling....

+1000.

Everyone: turn off MSNBC, turn off CNN.

They are not telling you the truth anymore.
