Kyle Rittenhouse: Vigilante White Men

I take comfort that Zimmerman’s life fell apart. Rittenhouse will follow in the same footprints. His claim to fame is killing two people. His name is tainted forever.

If I showed you people on the right using threatening language would it blow your mind?

This is just another proxy fight in the war of Left versus Right.

I was personally hoping for a conviction, but some of the left-leaning folks I follow on Facebook are just so sad and outraged about this and, more importantly, they want to make sure everyone knows how sad and outraged they are. Meanwhile, 1,200 Americans died of COVID yesterday. It's hard for me to get too tearful about two deaths in Kenosha last year. It's hard for me to shake the sense that those two deaths are important primarily because they provide an opportunity to hate on political opponents.

Accurate reading. I do think people were also curious if facts still matter.

I think liberals are just tired of the threats of violence. The constant day-in/day-out assault on decency, Democracy, and civility from the conservative forces in our lives. The mass shootings that conservatives support. The storming of the Capitol. The QAnon bullshit. The never ending conservative policies that rollout to control women and families. Conservatives represent a small percentage of Americans and are an overwhelming power.

The root of liberals issues are that they were typically born uglier and weaker. They instinctively feel threatened by the world and are deeply hurt from youth. They seek out centralized control that they control to find safety. It’s highly psychologically based.

most of Hollywood are liberal. And they are considered the "beautiful" people.

Also, if they are weaker, then the fact that the "weaker" party seems a threat to you says more about you.

One could say that the ultra right have self esteem issues and little peckers and that's why they want to be able to carry semiautomatic assault rifles around with them - to make up for areas that they lack.

So true, DP. I mean, just look at the beautiful, strong person Trump is.

Trump was a liberal most of his life, at least his formative years. The opportunist he is, he jumped into it in 2015-16.

I'm a Wisconsinite, who saw the damage done to those family businesses. Kenosha is a blue collar town, and it was left defenseless for days. When the Governor failed to allow the National Guard to come in until days later and the police were hamstrung, were they just supposed to take it? Really? Is this the answer from the Left?

No one asked you what you think. Go away.

Oh, ok. Would you say Mitch McConnell is beautiful and strong then?

So you're saying that you are going to encourage your sons to seek him out and brandish weapons?

DP. Is that crime? Seems it wasn't for him.

Carrying a weapon isn't the same as brandishing. Technically, having a weapon "at the ready" means it is locked and loaded and your finger is ok the trigger. Are you saying you intend to send your sons out to do this to Kyle Rittenhouse?

DP did not say " at the ready." Grasping at straws.

I'm asking the DP to clarify exactly what she meant about how she intended to send her sons out to harm or intimidate another person.

Do exactly what Kyle did? That would be ok, right? DP.

"Warriors." Most Republicans are cranky diabetics motoring around on their Rascal scooters demanding that the government stay away from Medicare.

eople on the right generally know more of the particulars than the left on almost all political issues. Consistent scientific Pew surveys always find conservatives better informed by a wide margin.

Hadn't seen that before. But, since the Chair of the DCCC put out a tweet today (now deleted) that claims that Jacob Blake, "an unarmed Black man" was killed, it kind of makes sense. Maybe he should quit watching MSNBC...

To protect a car lot from these rioters who wanted to burn the cars. Because he interfered with that, they went after Rittenhouse and tried to kill him.

Was he under 18 at the time? Why was a minor carrying a semiautomatic rifle and why was he trying to protect the car lot? Did his family own it? That's crazy that a 17 yr old was there with a semiautomatic.

Well the consistent science shows conservatives to be more attractive and everybody inherently knows that anyway. It’s just common sense that the disadvantaged would seek out protection from life.

Yep!
Only marries world class models and would TKO Biden within 10 seconds.

Biden can ride a bike at his age. Trump needs help down the stairs and drinks water with both hands. Also, pays porn stars because his beautiful model wife does not want to sleep with him. But sure!

It’s legal in Wisconsin

If he didn’t have it he would be dead trying to protect the car lot from being destroyed

I used to be liberal and I quit being liberal because it seemed like the left was promoting violence and civil war. Civil War is horrible. It would mean condemning all of our children and grandchildren to poverty and violence.

I worked in politics and can guarantee that all the death threats were coming from Trump supporters.

+1 someone in this thread said that the left were weak. Also, they aren't usually the ones carrying the semiautomatics in public.
