It would be like say Boston College is not very good as a D1 team just because they lost by 12 to Northwestern. Really good teams lose games too relative to all levels of play.

I am curious to hear why everyone seems to think Robinson and Woodson are Elite teams? Robinson is without their best player (draw) and best defender. Woodson has a couple good players but can't score and won't keep up with Oakton, Madison or Battlefield. The State Final will be Oakton/Madison winner vs Battlefield. Region C is significantly weaker than Region D, so that doesn't fit the narrative of Elite teams.

Just stop slobbering over Region D. The top 4 teams in Region C are 8-4 against everyone in Region D (and 8-2 vs those not named Oakton or Madison and the only non-regional or non Concorde win in there is a win over Marshall). They also own the only win over Battlefield. Maybe Madison and Oakton are the two best, but they do not constitute all of Region D. Actual on the field results say Region C holds up just fine.

Clearly you haven’t seen us play. Our freshmen have stepped up a lot and filled in nicely. Sleep on us at your own risk.

Top 4 in Region D are also 11-2 record against everyone in Region C. Region D has much more depth but agree that the Top 4 from Region C and D hold up just fine.

Admittedly, the bottom of Region C is bad, especially the National district. The Patriot District and the National District are like the AL East and AL Central respectively (almost anyone in the Patriot may be better than everyone in the National). So Region D is deeper. But the top of Region C holds up just fine with anyone.

Someone needs to call child services… on the parents of these young girls! Stating that this has been going on for years and you never reported it, you let or forced your girls to play, and you allowed them to put their health at risk? Or did you send a message that it’s Okay because you are winning but lose a few games and oh know they are mistreating my daughter. Have there been any complaints when they were winning… either way according to you the parents it’s only now an issue…. What kind of parents are you? Pretty much saying by your actions… winning is everything but not my daughter’s well being.
Funny how that works!
See you soon… if you get by Woodson, if not I’ll bring the tissues!

You don’t think posting an anonymous complaint on DCUM suffices? What more can a parent do? 🤣

When a coach throws a fit about a girl on an opposing team, and makes that girl cry, more than just the parents of the girls on the coach's team have a right to complain.

Still waiting for an explanation or retraction on this. I'll hang up and listen...

Was hoping to see an Oakton parent response to this very telling observation of the parents! They can look to throw the COY and coaches under the bus for one situation of emotion after a loss. But they the parent have been silent on an alleged situation happening all year. You allegedly knew about it??? I agree with below stating that it comes up when you lose. Obviously, your coaches can’t be bad if you the parent have allowed your daughters to continue to play….
Wish we could recruit those coaches…. Tired of losing at my daughter’s school.

I spoke to an Oakton parent and they aren’t excited by the airing of grievances while trying to win a state title (Festivus isn’t for like 6 months!). I assume the posters are in the minority.

This entire board is over the Oakton thing. Let’s talk about States. It’s like the 2 weeks before the Super Bowl and people report on no stories. Time to drop. Let the girls play.

Oakton is in states. Madison is in states. If their coach is hurtling insults at his own players or Madison players making them cry, it is totally relevant to the lines...

Battlefield may fall short this year in the state championship but the dynasty is coming!

Game was never in question last night. Guarantee there is a better plan to limit 6 & 26 scoring now that they have seen them. Stopping 7 a lot harder than stopping 2.
