This is like the turning point in a horror movie before the character goes crazy. I can hear the music for the score lol.

The judge seemed to be echoing earlier thoughts that we had discussed. Defending oneself isn’t retaliation. I’m not a lawyer but I think most of BL’s legal case gets tossed. Regardless, BL is an awful person and is not going to recover from this.

I saw a poll on TMZ and it split on Swifts involvement. She may be able to lay victim once again.

The fact that JB had a bad interview also shows that these things happen. He’s not blaming Blake for his bad interview, but she wants to scapegoat him for hers.

Its insane how many other celebrities she dragged into this. This will forever change how celebs and Hollywood runs things. Ryan must be extremely mad how they were about Blake too.

It really seems like Lively wanted IEWU to feel on par with Reynolds and Swift. It comes off insecure always dropping their name and making statements about how much she contributes creatively. Narcissism does stem from shame and insecurity.

I don’t think it’ll create change. However, I do think the Damons and Afflecks dragged in will not be interested in socializing with RR/BL. No more pickleball! And Affleck may totally ignore all future emails from them. It’s all so embarrassing.

I think Jen Garner is enjoying the hell out of this.

The part of the hearing that I found most interesting was Thor the judge realizes the bulk of the claims were not conventional harassment claims but disagreements about how scenes with intimacy should be filmed. I found this interesting because several posters here have been unable to grasp that. He mentioned creative freedom, and seems to be pondering whether nudity rider and other contractual remedies are a better vehicle for such disputes than sexual harassment laws.

Remember, his brother is a director, so he's not totally unfamiliar with the industry.

The text that Kelly read was brutal - I have 17th hand embarrassment from them.

To me though it showed clearly that BL has been a complete failure and needs others to jump in and bully until she gets what she wants.

There was no sexual harassment. Period.

There were creative differences which could have been handled better rather than what happened here: a diva launched a brutal and unnecessary campaign to pull rank, incite chaos, and ultimately destroy a colleague in a very public, highly orchestrated manner involving outsiders.

She chose these path and deserves to suffer the consequences.

Ryan and Taylor have reached unparalleled heights of success in their respective industries. As much as I don’t like Ryan I was a fan for a long time, though he was starting to get overexposed before all this drama. But there’s no doubt he is clever and creative. And obviously Taylor. So I’m sure lively was feeling insecure and was in a hurry to prove herself.

But what is so sad is that Ryan wrote the scene, she admitted that Taylor made things up about her to help her with the Justin situation, “you making things up about me and lenses, and him totally buying it” or whatever she said in that text. It’s all lies and taking credit for other people’s work.

What does she mean by lenses?

It will change how studios frame their contracts. They'll never let it get this bad and out of control again.

What I don’t understand is how Blake and Ryan’s teams let them self destruct this way. It’s obvious they are both fools but they are extremely wealthy a listers so they must have high powered teams.

I would ban follow and unfollow activity on Instagram. Or mandate consistent Instagram activity. Either post or don’t post but don’t change your behavior. I was on Florence Pugh’s side during the DWD drama, but people similarly started looking into whether there was drama because Pugh normally loves promoting her projects on there. (See how social media prompts sleuthing? Doesn’t have to be the result of a smear campaign.)

It’s pretty clear from all the documents they ignored some good advice. It’s probably what happens when you get as big as Ryan Reynolds, you just stop listening to people and think you know it all. He certainly was not the first celebrity that has happened to.

It was all a cooked up scheme to destroy this guy and steal his movie. These people are demons.
