| Seconding GC doesnt give athletic money to men’s lacrosse. Aid maybe depending on circumstance. |
It’s put under a different category—leadership scholarship or something similar. Dane is a good recruiter. He has money at his disposal and he spends it freely on lacrosse players. |

DeMatha will be worse next year. They only had a dominant FOGO that could maintain possession and keep them in games. Now they have nothing and the coaching is awful. |
PVI -- Should remain solid. SJC -- fresh goal tending won't bring back the success of Big Tasty but it will be an improvement over the worthless hype GC -- Next year is their year to bubble up GZ -- will be more of the same. a few solid wins rounded out by pervasive mediocrity DM -- Needs to be relegated to the "Meh" for the foreseeable future TH, SMR & The Bishops -- Should welcome DM to the "Meh" and challenge the bottom of the IAC. |
Sorry mom, they weren't impact players at this level. Most won't touch the field in college. |
| Why not? It was pretty high level from High school level. Not sure which game you were watching. It was great lacrosse that all hs teams should aspire to. |
Thank you for demonstrating the problem on military road in 14 words. Wins are not deserved; they are earned. This class was all hype. The win that they got is a lot of unearned D1 roster spots that should have gone to players who were more competitive. |
That's not how you spell "Choke." Oh you said "Coach." My bad. |
I think you missed the post's tone - I believe it was sarcastic and taking a shot at SJC since the DC tournament is a joke. The SJC senior class may not have reset the record books, but "all hype" and "unearned D1 roster spots" is a cheap shot to take at teenagers. The only year they were in high school that could really be framed as underperforming was losing to Ryken in the semis in '25. Losing a championship game to this year's PVI squad in a two-goal game and a one goal championship game loss to Gonzaga two years ago aren't bad losses. Falling short of a prize? Yes. Disappointing? Yes. Maybe not living up to expectations when they were 14? Sure. I do think we're all better served appreciating that the area has more good lacrosse and more parity than ever before instead of cutting down kids for not winning enough. As for the college side, time will tell, but SJC alums have been contributing significantly to a bunch of D1 teams in the last decade. |
To be fair those kids also won in the WCAC. These ones didn't. |
I assume this is the back up goalie who quit’s Dad. Get a life man. |
| Comments are now open for WCAC selections. 3 fogo's first team and 4 total, more SJC than PVI on 1st and 2nd team. Anyone know the selection process? |
| What happened to STAB? Blue Ridge just upset them in playoffs. |
That's gotta be a typo. They won going away 18-7, pulled starters early in the 4th. Should be a great matchup for the final. |
