I find your whole attitude towards life gross and offensive. |
I absolutely would cut off my kids if they smoked pot. We have a zero tolerance policy in our house. When they decide to stop acting like a loser, they can come back. |
| No smoking pot inside the house. No pot before 6pm or on school nights. No pot unless I am also offered some. |
You're the only loser in that scenario. But your kids are probably better off without you. |

Look up how fentanyl is now laced in everything including pot. Unless you buy it with a medical marijuana card it's not safe. I would not allow it in my house but if they're buying I would prefer edibles from a legal dispensary.
Please have an open discussion about fentanyl poisoning with your kids. |
+1 in 5 years the poster will make a thread "why dont my kids talk to me anymore???" |
| Not outside either. My neighbors don't need to be smelling that crap. |

No way. I’m not anti pot but it stinks so not in house or backyard.
Big Four No Nevers 1. No pot 2. No BO 3. Flush the toilet and clean your bathroom 4. No leaving food around the house |
We are talking about adults here not teens. |
18 year old boys are not really adults |
| zero tolerance. our previous generations have had addiction issues. we are very clear that we have "addiction genes" - booze, tobacco, drugs, gambling, porn, sex, food, shopping .... My kids know to steer clear of all drugs, and moderate activities that can lead to addiction. |
This is what I told my son last year when he first came home from College. When he came back again this year I reminded him the house rule/condition still stands. Also, if I see/find anything at our home it goes straight in the trash. |
They very much are in the eyes of the law. Your need to control them into adulthood doesn't negate their rights. Sure, kick them out and disown them if you must. But they never have to speak to you again. |
What's in your medicine cabinet? Liquor cabinet? |
