What are your rules about smoking pot at home?

Look, he's already in college doing what he wants. You aren't going to stop him from smoking, but you should talk to him about the risks. It's one thing to smoke with friends once a week or two and another to be part of your daily routine.

With that said, I would have a hard line about smoking anywhere near my high school kid. Just no. So, if that means he and friends don't hang out at my house, that's ok. He can uber home or stay overnight. Again, that's if we're talkign about a casual user who is otherwise moving forward in life (good mental health, decent grades, summer job). If it's more often, then I would lay down the law as others have and not pay or do anything optional. That is a bad road to be on.

Stand up for your family, and prohibit any pot smoking at home.

This is a no-brainer.

The smell alone is nauseauting.

A long-term habit of pot smoking is not good. Be a parent.

The best you can do is prohibit them from smoking in YOUR home. That's it. They are adults and don't need your permission to do anything.

Rules? My way or the highway.

I don’t think my DD smokes at home but maybe at school. Not sure how I would feel. She has this giant bong she’s kept at home for the summer for a friend and I’m inclined to think she may try some now that she’s back this fall with her friend.
