Oh have they set this system up since we went this past winter? We were exhausted when we got to Port Orleans and stood in the wrong place in the reception area waiting to check in, nobody acknowledged us then a long line formed and we had to go to the back of that. 4yo DD was tired and hungry. Fun times. |
We used it last month. But also 18 months ago and during COVID. It was a breeze. But we did the pre check on on the Disney app. |

| This happens at every Caribbean resort - mid to high end - I have been to. At some mid range like Westins (thinking of Grand Cayman most recently), the check in line has literally been out the door. |
Are you talking about Great Wolf Lodge! I remember those very long lines when active DD was little. So hard! |

PP here. Yeah, places like Powhatan take forever. We were checked in very quickly at Kingsmill though, but it's been several years. I still think this is mostly a Caribbean problem. We didn't experience it at all in HI, nor do we normally experience it in FL. |

yeah we had the app. It wasn't an option for us, or for the long line of people waiting at the front desk. And we definitely take advantage of online check in when it's available. So my experience is not that WDW is on top of this at all. |

It was last year. Is it that hard for you to imagine that an app might say you have to go to the front desk to check in? Have you every even been to Port Orleans? |
Do you really think this was a specific Port Orleans problem? Or perhaps an app glitch? Or issue with your particular room or something else? You made a blanked statement that at this hotel its not an option which is false. |
