Who cheats more: men or women?

It’s a mental issue.

Bingo. It’s like the myth that on average, women have fewer sexual partners than men.

That’s not how math works.

It might be a myth, but not because of math. One woman could be having sex with hundreds of men or vice versa.

Math major here. The only way the average woman has fewer partners than the average man is if homosexual men have more partners than homosexual women (which might very well be true - I'm not making a claim either way here). Assuming the total population is X men and X women, every new heterosexual partnership adds 1/X to the average for both men and women.

How far did you get with math? It’s very possible for the median woman to have fewer partners than the median man even if the arithmetic average is equal. To use the arithmetic average to represent the typical man or woman is very inaccurate if the distribution of partners is skewed and skewed in different ways for men and women; median or mode is best to represent a typical individual of either sex.

Agreed but what type of one?

No, because to the "cheating" part means that you are married, not single. So a married man can be cheating with a single woman, who wouldn't be cheating.

Plus, a meaningful portion of married men might be cheating with unmarried sex workers rather than married women.

Call me old fashioned but sleeping with prostitutes isnt cheating.

LMAO. If not a joke, my friends and I would universally divorce you for this - you're cheating under any definition, bringing home STDs, and you're wasting marital property to cheat.

What about strippers? Cheating? Porn? Cheating?

I think both cheat about equally. However women may tend to justify their cheating more than men. Women often have a disarming argument namely the lack of emotional support to justify their cheating. Men cannot claim that because we can suppress our emotions and be just fine.

Hey I may be wrong and I am sure women will say I am 100% wrong. Just my opinion

Is looking at sexual content on onlyfans cheating?

It's probably somewhat equal but men would cheat far more if they could and especially if they could get away with it. Men are as faithful as their non-needy options

The rates are most likely about equal in the US nowadays. For whatever reasons, one hears about male cheating more. But for women who aren’t reliant financially on a man, they have the same driver reasons to cheat as the traditional man.

Well, I think it's worse when a woman cheats, especially if she is married. So far I've known two women who cheated on their spouses. Both our aunts. One woman cheated a lot with a lot of different races. Different ages different everything and then left the spouse and went to another country. The other is still with the spouse but she has cheated for the past 20 years with the same man. And a man I'm talking to just casually says he has cheated on his wife before he his ex-wife with a married woman who didn't want to use protection with him. She let him put it everywhere.

Basically it says women are more likely to cheat than men from ages 18-29. Then men are more likely.

Which makes sense since women basically lose their physical appeal once they hit their 30s whereas men are more likely to age well (beer bellies and bald fellas notwithstanding).

I like bald fellas. Beer belly, not so much. But hair?? so not caring.

Women COULD cheat more because they are SMARTER than men. Who gets caught far more often? MEN. Is this because women are so good at catching their husbands cheating, or because the cheating wives are so good at hiding it? Or because men are bad at hiding their affairs and men are so oblivious to problems that they don't even notice their wives are cheating? So many options.

But I don't think women cheat more often.

Lol. Men get caught more because eventually the other woman goes batshit crazy when he won't leave his wife and she blows up his world. Men do not do that

Men get caught more because they're careless. I'm stunned at how sloppy they are when they cheat. I'm not sure if they want to get caught or if they think nothing will ever go wrong for them.

That's interesting because the men I know who cheated didn't even use a burner phone. They just used a regular phone which is the reason many get caught

Guy I know at work recently divorced his wife of 20-some, two kids in college because he found out she had been meeting and banging married men she met online for the past 7 years or more. Real sneaky ho apparently.

I’ve seen way too married women regularly flirt with their male co-workers, friends, doctors, passersby, etc.,

But a man will usually only have a a singular women or two on the side when he decides to be unfaithful.

Now, I do think sleeping with someone is significantly worse than an emotional affair, but it is still cheating.

Seeing women “flirt” is not an emotional affair.

Why is it worse if a woman cheats? Makes zero sense.

The AP is not always married or in a relationship so where's the major logical lapse?
