Me neither, and the stuff is crap. Used to be good.

Agree on the quality, DH bought a flannel that’s so mangy. What’s the point of an ugly plaid if it isn’t at least soft and cozy? They’ve been running on past impressions for years now.

Their quality has gone way down since I first started buying from them 20 years ago. Not as terrible as Lands End but still..

So where have you found better quality?

Same. The return policy too. Bye. Time for an indoor skate park.

I'm not concerned. Obviously, they're closing the Tysons store because of a disagreement with the landlord. They're not closing it because NoVa is no longer a viable market. They'll reopen elsewhere in the area -- and likely sooner rather than later.

I'm from New England and have had L.L. Bean products my entire life. I agree that their product lines and return policies are not as great as they once were, but I still find them better than many alternatives.

There were no "ties." One board member donated to him. It wasn't a store thing. It was a personal thing.

It's 22,000 square feet. It's not that tiny.

I’m five miles away and generally avoid Tysons at all costs.

Same here.

I think the traffic has eased since the pandemic started AND once they opened up the road by the new Capital One building — people can cut through from Rt 7 to 123 that way, which resulted in an overall reduction in traffic. My husband and I frequently walk in the Galleria and will sometimes peruse through the other mall. It hasn’t been bad!

When is the clearance sale?

I don't think they'll have much in the way of clearance. I think they will just ship the merchandise to other stores.

I hope they move it to fair Oaks Mall. There’s plenty of space and it must be cheaper out here.

The last time I went they were pretty snotty about plus sizes. Oh well.

1. LLBean is a garbage store selling garbage, boring stuff.
2. Places like Tysons closing down is good for society. What a cesspool of meaningless consumerism wrapped up in a jumbo parking garage.
