The writing was just not clear, perhaps. I was last there, in person, approximately 20 years ago; poor experience. Recently, I planned to go back and pick up items reserved online; had a poor telephone experience with a crap employee and items were not available so I did not go in. So: two poor experiences. |
Come on everyone get your frumpy sweaters and soccer mom vest at the mall.. |
| I was in there last week to buy some gear for my kids. The employee who checked us out said ll bean couldn’t successfully renegotiate the lease with the mall. She said this was the second most profitable location outside of their Maine shop. She also said the plan was for them to build their own large freestanding location in Nova. |
| The Sears space at Montgomery Mall could work! I would love that! |
| A great location for them to move to would be the old Dick’s location in Fair Lakes. Massive two story space, plenty of parking and plenty of shoppers in that area already. |
| LL Bean sucks, it doesn't even fit with the rest of the mall. I live right down the street from the mall and regularly walk there just for the hell of it. I don't think I've ever seen more than like 3 people in the LL Bean store at one time (I go in there because there is a secret bathroom not so heavily trafficked). I guess every single LL Bean customer showed up to this thread |
| They are the best place for quality shoes |
Girl, what? No. |
That is, of course, quality defined by longevity and comfort, not by how many guys offer to buy you a drink whilst wearing…. |
Still no, despite you being triggered. |
I worked at the Tysons LL Bean when I was in high school and college (early 00s). Sad to see it go. Everyone I worked with was super nice and they paid better than most stores at the mall. It was a great job. |
That would be awesome! Fair Oaks mall or Fair Lakes would be a great place to go. Selfishly, I’m hoping that’s where they choose. |
Good to hear this. LL Bean is a great American company. |
| Maybe they’ll anchor the Boro Ph 2 development |
| What was in that space prior to LL Bean? |
