The GOP went absolutely apoplectic that Obama released $1.6 billion of Iran's interest to Iran as part of the JCPOA but they will praise Trump for returning $25 billion of Iran's money to Iran.

Hezbollah has been using drones to hit the IDF. Obviously not at the scale of Russia/Ukraine. But it's clear drones are becoming the norm in all conflicts. Judging from the videos, the IDF has not adapted to their presence. I don't think Hezbollah has the means or the operators to really saturate the airspace with drones. But it's only a question of time until every battlespace starts to look like Ukraine, where 80 percent of all casualties are caused by drones. And things like invading Lebanon become extremely costly for Israel.

But Iran is advanced with drones, which makes war with Iran a pretty dumb thing to do. Someone should have maybe thought about that before starting this war.

I think the Israeli argument for continuing aggression and land takeover in Lebanon is “we must because otherwise Hezbollah will use drone on us innocent Israelis”. They have to both position Herzbollah as the aggressor while also portraying strength at home and actively continue to cause great fear, harm and turmoil in Lebanon. It’s a delicate balance for sure.
