So maybe the GOP shouldn’t have run home and should have gone ahead and done some legislating?

Ope. Sorry. They can’t do that though. They have to keep you scared and angry.

We know. And democrats do not disagree with you that we have a problem at the border. We disagree with your insistence that voting for republicans will solve it. They have made zero effort to address it. They’ve even admitted that they like having it as an issue to rally voters. They’re not serious people and governing is serious work.

“We decry hostility and discrimination towards immigrants as antithetical to the traditions and interests of the country. At the same time, we disagree with those who would label efforts to control immigration as being inherently anti-immigrant. Rather, it is both a right and a responsibility of a democratic society to manage immigration so that it serves the national interest.”
Rep. Barbara Jordan

Chair, U.S. Commission on Immigration Reform

When democrats focused on helping US workers first! A long long time ago

You literally don’t even understand what you posted.

And house republicans go home for Christmas vacation

Guess it’s not a “national crisis” after all.

No legislation needed. Enforce the legislation already in effect.

Oh, please. I lived near the Arizona border in the 90s. It’s always been a problem. I’d love to know who sent these people shirts though- I can guarantee you it wasn’t a democrat.

What do you think that picture depicts? Share your conclusions.

Because if immigration is a problem, why did your loser representative run off home for three weeks of vacation?

Immigration is not a winning issue for Joe.

He has set records for every metric when it comes to the border.... and not in a good way.
Record number of encounters
Record number of got aways
Record number of migrant deaths
Record amount of fentanyl entering the US
Record number of people entering illegally released into the US (some withOUT an Notice to Appear)

It is absolutely indisputable that his campaign rhetoric and his actions once he assumed office has led to this absolute crisis.

And, instead of stepping up border enforcement, he has used funding to process migrants more rapidly to avoid the "optics" of overcrowded facilities and putting migrants in cages.
He should be impeached on this issue alone along with Mayorkas and border czar, Harris.

This is a humanitarian crisis, and environmental crisis, and most frightening - a national security crisis.

The republicans just decided it wasn’t important enough to keep them from getting a three week break. Guess no one cares.

DP. You do know that Democrats make up half of the House - and THEY also “ran home” for the holidays. Right?

DP. I just have to say - how long has it been now since Democrats even made any attempt to fix the border issues?? How long have Republicans been insisting something must be done, only for Democrats to claim there is nO cRISiS!! How long have Democrats been gaslighting the American people by pretending the border is under control?

It actually took a border crisis unlike anything the US has ever seen, as well as funding tied to Ukraine and Israel, to make idiot Democrats sit up and take notice. No doubt the agreement will FINALLY be reached and our southern border will get the strict legislation it desperately needs, but my god. Your pathetic attempt to blame the current situation on the GOP is so very telling. You’d love for Americans to simply forget the disgraceful and disastrous policies of Democrats. Your party is the absolute worst and their failures will be remembered next year.

Your point is that the gop cares about this and they do not. Not at all.
