No clue who is going to win but if you take a look at all blow-outs in the Women's D1 NCAA tournament (with all their talent) the differences between many of these VHSH 6A teams is so razor thin (Madison, Oakton, Woodson, Robinson, Battlefield) including very talented teams already eliminated such as Yorktown, South Lakes, and West Potomac.

Congrats to all teams still in the hunt for a state title and enjoy the moment.

Agreed. Saw all these teams play and some excellent lacrosse (always room for improvement). Many of the teams already eliminated ranked Top 10 in the state and played with the best in close losses often by 1 or 2 goals. Lot of great lacrosse and more to come! Not to mention Langley and West Springfield too in the list above.

Great point - saw a lot of teams play and Yorktown, Langley, West Springfield, South Lakes, and West Potomac were all so close. Nice to see a lot of close games as brings up the level of play as lopsided games are no fun for anybody.

Lot of "signature" wins by all 5 schools advancing to States:

Madison = 11-8 Robinson, 12-11 South Lakes, 17-14 South Lakes, 11-9 Yorktown, 10-9 Oakton, 9-8 Oakton
Oakton = 10-5 Langley, 12-9 Woodson, 10-7 Yorktown, 17-14 South Lakes, 11-6 Madison
Robinson = 16-10 Woodson, 14-8 West Po, 15-9 West Springfield 16-13 West Po, 11-6 West Springfield, 16-15 Battlefield
Woodson = 9-8 West Springfield, 11-10 Langley, 12-10 West Po, 9-5 West Po, 11-9 Robinson, 9-4 Robinson
Battlefield = 18-5 Yorktown, 7-5 Woodson

Thanks for taking the time. Some notable results.

Interesting swing in the Robinson/Woodson matchup. And I know Yorktown improved through the year, but it's really hard to imagine the team that played Madison in the Regional Semis losing to Battlefield, or really anyone in VHSL, by 13 goals.

Oakton also beat SSSA.

Put West Po and West Spring and Langley in the Concorde and they don’t even make regionals. Keep up the laughs though

Went and watched the BF colgan game. Colgan is a damn good team. Was not expecting them to be that good. Solid win for Battlefield.
