Yeah - she sold the one she shared with Big after he died. Then she bought another super expensive one, but decided she hated it, and sold that one, too. Maybe it is a thing for New York City people? I ask as a naive resident of MD my whole life. One of the characters on Run the World also kept her apartment, supposedly because of the locked in low rent. She is, of course, single again and back in it.

Imo the slow is finally finding its footing. It's best when focusing on dating mishaps. I mostly enjoyed the ep, though don't believe Carrie wouldn't give the hunky Peter Hermann character another chance given the specific circumstances (maybe just bad writing). Please let this be the end for Miranda and Che. Her OG dating mishaps were often very entertaining. Being Naya's roommate also has potential.

I can’t believe Che is 46! When she said that on this week’s episode, I was really surprised because I had assumed she was in her 30s, partly due to her immature behavior. She treats Miranda horribly and is so selfish...

Yeah she knows her partner's exhausted but gets high and games with her 'bros' until all hours of the night? And commits to a fancy apartment without a secure source of income? "They" sorry! They are clearly not in love with Miranda anyway, just enjoying the adoration and the sex. Zero effort to compromise on the different schedules and pure indifference when Miranda said she needed to room elsewhere for her well-being. I don't think Sara Rodriguez is given much to work with in terms of the writing, but it is so painful to watch!!

I could see the difference being that she wasn't madly infatuated with Steve in the same way, their relationship was much more of a slow burn. But the show should at least acknowledge this point, otherwise it just seems Miranda's character is being decimated for no good reason.

I don’t find it implausible at all. What I find strange is that they are making the audience not like Miranda and it does make her friendships with the other characters seem shallow. That was the core of the show.

Just because something is plausible doesn’t mean people want to watch a show about it.

Isn’t Miranda the producer?? I am sure she is largely responsible for the direction of her character. She seemed completely unlikable in the separate behind the scenes “documentary” that’s also on Max.

Yup Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis are both producers of this show. SJP is as well and was a producer on SATC starting around Season 3.

It's only been a year since she lost the man she viewed as the love of her life. I don't think there's anything strange about her not really being ready, but the writing should be more nuanced then.
