I checked out after the kid ugly cried on the stand. Does anyone believe the vetted jurors had no knowledge that Rosenbaum spent roughly 15 years in prison for sexually abusing five pre-teen boys in 2002, was indicted on 11 counts of child molestation, and eventually pleaded guilty to two amended counts of sexual conduct with a minor? Obviously wasn't admitted in court docs, but they had to know. Not sobbing for the victims at all. Not overjoyed for Rittenhouse either. Clearly a premeditated "looking for trouble" kid.

Joseph Rosenbaum loved children, apparently - which lead to him being charged by a grand jury with 11 counts of child molestation, and inappropriate sexual activity with children, including anal rape. The victims were 5 boys ranging in age from nine to 11 years old.

He was also under a restraining order to have no contact with a woman named Kerianne.

Anthony Huber had repeat convictions for violent domestic abuse; he liked to beat the crap out of his girlfriend. Did it several times. Also liked to used dangerous / deadly weapons while committing violent felonies.

The official conviction records are right on google. These facts are not in dispute.

All I'm getting out of this is that the Left hates the Right and the Right hates the Left. I'm convinced that very few people give a shit about the particulars and would come to the exact same conclusion about the cases if Rittenhouse was a BLM supporter and the people he shot were Trump enthusiasts who didn't like BLM. This is just another proxy fight in the war of Left versus Right.

I was personally hoping for a conviction, but some of the left-leaning folks I follow on Facebook are just so sad and outraged about this and, more importantly, they want to make sure everyone knows how sad and outraged they are. Meanwhile, 1,200 Americans died of COVID yesterday. It's hard for me to get too tearful about two deaths in Kenosha last year. It's hard for me to shake the sense that those two deaths are important primarily because they provide an opportunity to hate on political opponents.

If Rittenhouse wins money from a defamation lawsuit, it will give him some money to hand over to the families of the guys he killed after the wrongful death lawsuit.

People on the right generally know more of the particulars than the left on almost all political issues. Consistent scientific Pew surveys always find conservatives better informed by a wide margin.
