Does anyone believe the vetted jurors had no knowledge that Rosenbaum spent roughly 15 years in prison for sexually abusing five pre-teen boys in 2002, was indicted on 11 counts of child molestation, and eventually pleaded guilty to two amended counts of sexual conduct with a minor? Obviously wasn't admitted in court docs, but they had to know. Not sobbing for the victims at all. Not overjoyed for Rittenhouse either. Clearly a premeditated "looking for trouble" kid.

So he deserved to die? Is that what you're saying?

Probably not. But, honestly, Rosenbaum shouldn't have threatened to kill him and then chase him down. He was sick, though.

I'm convinced that very few people give a shit about the particulars and would come to the exact same conclusion about the cases if Rittenhouse was a BLM supporter and the people he shot were Trump enthusiasts who didn't like BLM. This is just another proxy fight in the war of Left versus Right.

I was personally hoping for a conviction, but some of the left-leaning folks I follow on Facebook are just so sad and outraged about this and, more importantly, they want to make sure everyone knows how sad and outraged they are. Meanwhile, 1,200 Americans died of COVID yesterday. It's hard for me to get too tearful about two deaths in Kenosha last year. It's hard for me to shake the sense that those two deaths are important primarily because they provide an opportunity to hate on political opponents.

Today’s left is all about hate.

They embrace hate. They hated trump.

They learned to hate anyone who voted for trump. They say they hate racists (I hate racists), but the left then twists nearly anything to fit their ever-expanding definition of “racist.” They hate the police. They hate ICE, and by extension they hate borders.

Funny - in my house, “hate” is still a 4 letter word.

Rittenhouse won because white boys can do no wrong. Judicial system proves this over an over again.

He has a nice big target on his back now. I would
Encourage my sons to be armed and ready around him.

People on the right generally know more of the particulars than the left on almost all political issues. Consistent scientific Pew surveys always find conservatives better informed by a wide margin.

You're hanging your hat on a 2012 Pew survey with questions about which party is more supportive of drilling in ANWR and a questionable assertion that Republicans are actually serious with their empty words about reducing the size and scope of the government? That's a curve ball.

If I can show you prominent Republicans saying hateful things will that blow your mind?

What's fascinating is that ICE is not involved in border control. But details like "is this true?" have become irrelevant to the left.

Nope . It’s consistent every time they do the survey. Here’s another.

NP. Yes. He murdered two people. He had no reason to be there as he just appointed himself judge, jury, and executioner. He has a target on his back. H
deserves whatever he gets. The judge should be defrocked or whatever they do to insane judges!

Accurate reading. I do think people were also curious if facts still matter.

I think liberals are just tired of the threats of violence. The constant day-in/day-out assault on decency, Democracy, and civility from the conservative forces in our lives. The mass shootings that conservatives support. The storming of the Capitol. The QAnon bullshit. The never ending conservative policies that rollout to control women and families. Conservatives represent a small percentage of Americans and are an overwhelming power.

Granted, I have not followed this case closely. But I did see the video of Rittenhouse on the ground, and the guy with the handgun coming at him. How is that not self defense???

I think Rittenhouse clearly went looking for trouble and should not have been there at all, but at least one of the shootings was self defense. I don’t know about the others. Too lazy to look up video.

So you're saying that you are going to encourage your sons to seek him out and brandish weapons?

DP. Is that crime? Seems it wasn't for him.

Wisconsin is a mess. Not surprised. Glad I never have to go there!

True.
Only 20 percent wanted the revolutionary war. The warriors are in control in the end.

Carrying a weapon isn't the same as brandishing. Technically, having a weapon "at the ready" means it is locked and loaded and your finger is ok the trigger. Are you saying you intend to send your sons out to do this to Kyle Rittenhouse?
