Don't be obtuse. Any GOP Senator could say I won't vote for this candidate unless or until there is an FBI Investigation. Kavanaugh could say "I want to clear my name, take a few days and do the investgation"

Nobody is saying that. But own, contextualize, say you've grown. Don't lie. The RenateAlumnus lie is particularly egregious - he repeatedly makes it and it demonstrates a complete lack of character. Do I think him writing that in 1982 disqualifies him? No. Do I think that him lying about it's actual intent under oath, and twisting Renate's statement herself and leaving out the fact that she found it offensive and hurtful disqualifies him? Hell yeah.

It's staggering how many of you think that an FBI investigation for this is an actual criminal investigation. It is exactly what Kavanaugh said it is: they take statements, they present the statements to the Senate, the Senate decides.

Agree. He showed his true colors today. He is toast. He should be embarrassed, but he is too arrogant and entitled to even realize that.
