He seems to have a similar uneven gait and may be lefthanded as well. Maneuvering backpack with left hand and slinging it over left shoulder when leaving.

His gun was set up for a right handed person. I am right handed and I wear my backpack on the left side too. That leaves my dominant right hand available for anything I need to do

Left handed person here. Backpack and all carry is only on my left. The gun arrangement was strange & probably someone not accustomed to firearms. It's possible handedness was not a consideration for him.

The gun is much better place for a right handed person. A leftie isn't going to reach around like that.

The handle would be closer to the left hand or is the camera reflecting it opposite?

Think about how you actually hold a gun. How does a leftie pull a gun out of the holster like that.

This would make me think the person is left handed. If the handle is facing their left hand. Their hand would easily be able to slide to the trigger.

Okey doke. It would be far easier and faster to put it in the other way for the left hand. Have you moved on from it must be Annie to this stupidity?

Multiple experts on news programs have stated that this was an amateur gun owner - from the cheap holster, how its positioned, the fit, etc.

And they all say it's positioned for a right handed person. Next.

A criminology expert on one of the shows last night said this person is between 5’9 and 5’11 and weighs about 200 pounds.

Why did Annie Guthrie and her husband hire security recently?

Why didn’t Nancy have a security system since she was living alone?

This is a compelling video and while I can’t tell if it’s the same person. I think it is a very good lead.

Would I can’t wrap my mind around, and somebody up thread said that we can’t apply logic to something illogical, is why she is missing. They didn’t steal anything so what is the purpose of this kidnapping? Do they panic? The she confront them? It’s very tragic. Sadly I believe she is dead, it’s been too many days.

Inexperienced criminals often do illogical things when they panic.

As in since this story broke? Probably because of psychos like the people on the board who are accusing them of horrible things and of being the person in the video?

They knew a celebrity’s mother lived in town so decided to make a last ditch effort to get the money they owe someone. They are obviously incompetent with this and did not put a lot of effort into planning it. They are not familiar with how ring doorbell works. It seems like they thought the camera would only activate after ringing the doorbell. That’s why they were comfortable moseying around and looking right at it. They have no idea how ransoms work. Unfortunately, they were likely also too incompetent to realize an 84 year old might have meds essential to their survival.

I agree with this. Criminals aren't smart and they make mistakes.

Especially if they are addicts and/or inexperienced criminals.

Does anyone else think the police are completely botching this whole investigation. How do you just find gloves near the house almost 2 weeks later? And there's zero other leads to date?

It’s positioned for the left in the image.

This is a wild theory but this whole story is weirder than weird. The Domino's delivery man that walked right through the property to delivery pizza- everyone was saying WHY did he do that?! Who walks into a crime scene? Well, weirdly enough his body language/gait are similar to the video. Was he trying to leave DNA evidence later so he could be like, yo I was just delivering a pizza? As they say, they always come back to the scene.

Police also exist to protect people who are not suspects from threats. They may be at Annie's house because of people like the ones here who think she or her husband did it and are harassing and threatening her, or because they have reason to believe whomever kidnapped the mother or whomever is trying to collect ransom is also after them.
