That's the thing to keep remembering. Depp brought his case. Her hitting him back doesn't make her article defamatory.

You and I appear to have differing opinions as to why Depp brought his case. From what I've read and watched he may see damage to her career going forward as a win, no matter what the jury decides.

Of course he does. The whole point of his lawsuit is to humiliate her, ruin her life and keep abusing her. She dared to speak out against his narcissists' abuse and by god narc w2ill make her pay for that.

I feel the same way about Heard. Proven history of DV and violence in general, proven history of drunkenness, admitted drug use, demands for money, admitted violence, innumerable proven lies and pictures of everything except actual alleged injuries. So gross.

But, you do not seem to be able to find his admission to violence, even though we have videos of it all over internet? Even recently he punched someone on set, and still went on trial saying he as never hit anyone in his life! Oh, no wait, he is not subjected to the same standard as a young woman that she was when she was with him! She must be a proper Betty Crocker lest she is the abusive one! Me too. Honestly, Jennifer Lawrence is also a stiff actress with a similar look but I think she makes friends much better, and also works out to keep herself in shape, eats well, etc. I really don’t know what the career track for someone like heard is, after 30 or so. Maybe as the other woman in rom coms? Maybe a CBS procedural drama? Most actors are moving up producing as they age, but that requires money, friends, and smarts (or at least two of the three)
