| I'd go out with him! |
You and I appear to have differing opinions as to why Depp brought his case. From what I've read and watched he may see damage to her career going forward as a win, no matter what the jury decides. |

This whole thread just reinforces the stereotype of women being hot for the nasty drunk hardcore addict bad boy.
I like Johnny Depp years ago - but after all I have learned about his behavior aside from his relationship with Heard - how he’s been a falling down passing out drunk and drugged in front of his children, and how he burned through a 650 million fortune to the point where he’s now struggling to make ends meet - I have no interest in ever watching him act again. He’s gross. |
I feel the same way about Heard. Proven history of DV and violence in general, proven history of drunkenness, admitted drug use, demands for money, admitted violence, innumerable proven lies and pictures of everything except actual alleged injuries. So gross. |

Here are my observations as someone who watched the entire trial (at the expense of my job as a lawyer) --
1. Johnny Depp was very badly served by his lawyer Adam Waldman. If Johnny had never brought the lawsuit against his former money managers, he would have saved himself so much grief. 2. Also, his current lawyers (Benjamin Chew, etc) should have warned him 1 million times about the risk of him looking much worse after the world could read some of the texts that he wrote. Maybe Johnny still insisted on bringing the lawsuit and the lawyers figured that they might as well be the ones to try the case. But still, I truly hope that the lawyers did everything in their power to dissuade him from bringing this to trial. 3. Reporters have been misleading readers when they say that Johnny has burned through his fortune. While he was cash-poor at times, he still has a high net worth because of all the properties he owns. 4. There are a lot of lessons learned about the pros/cons of televising a major trial like this. I think we should re-think having cameras in the courtroom, as we are all watching for our own education/entertainment, at their expense. 5. Maybe AA and NA can use some of this info as a way to persuade kids not to do drugs. Maybe Johnny could do a PSA to say "Don't start with drugs. I pay a doctor $100,000 per month to help with my addictions, and it's still a problem for me." 6. Fame seems like something to avoid. It might be cool at times, but seems like something that causes a lot of grief/pain. |
with those filthy finger nails? nope |
+1. I started this trial slightly pro Johnny because I think he had some real talent and the fact that he had a couple long term relationships with no real indication of abuse makes me think that he has the capacity to be a decent person if he’s not surrounded by sycophants, enablers, and co-dependents. But he is clearly really far off the rails—he seems to have little to no insight into his own shortcomings, and is convinced that he is charming everyone. I’d love to see a poll of the jury on how they perceive his testimony—most lawyers will advise their witnesses against that sort of smirky smugness and “witty” comebacks as it usually plays very poorly with the jury. I can’t believe there are people impressed with how he’s presenting in this trial. RIP to the actor that gave us Donnie Brasco. |
Exactly. |
LOL I meant over for Depp. |
Do you know around what time he leaves?? Thank you!! |
YES! |
You’re as quick to throw out a “both sides” as a MAGA.

| Where is a good place to park in the morning? And walk over? |
Sweetheart, wait until you make fifty then come back and let us know if you dyed your grey and stopped worrying about your appearance. Now that's pathetic to stop caring and allowing oneself to just go to hither. |
Are you scandalized by his occasional rings, tattoos and occasional black nail polish? Because looking at pictures his finger nails are as clean as Amber's
