Not necessarily, if she lived in the area, knew people in years below her, was home during school breaks, etc. It's at least as likely as not.

Notice the terminology in the accusation:
Girls were given alcohol...
I'm sorry, but as a woman, does anyone here believe girls would go to these HS parties if there was no alcohol?

You people are a joke.

My very naive MALE friend didn’t realize there was vodka in his OJ for the first few parties at his elite prep school. He just thought he randomly got sick until a friend of ours explained it to him. This was late 80s.

Honestly, G-Prep in those days was a school for rich boys that are dumb, often violent jocks who couldn't get into Landon or St. Albans. Of course there were exceptions, but sorry, it's true. Of course, apparently, Kavanaugh was smart and connected enough to get into Yale. But come on, in the 70s and early 80s that school was a towel snapping locker room. Everyone knew this.

Kavanaugh should just step aside. I'm sure there are scores of squeaky clean Neil Gorsuches who would fit the bill.

Nothing to do with money or intelligence.

The college I went to was nothing like Dead Poets Society. No one stood on desks reciting Whitman. But I majored in a STEM area so that could have something to do with it.

Teenage girls are funny and very few are motivated by money.

Bullsh*t. I was a teen girl at a decent private school and every teen girl chased after rich smart sporty guys who threw parties in mansions and had tons of money for booze and drugs.

The CPL is looking even creepier today. Didn’t know that was possible.

Could you all stop with the stupid nicknames? For Kavanaugh and Avenatti. It makes the conversation hard to follow jesus.

Sorry, no. I have reported I don’t know how many posts when people refer to Judge Kavanaugh with derogatory names. Those posts remain.
CPL is what Avenatti is. The name fits. He is what he is.

If you got an invitation to go with a friend to one of these parties in '82 or '82, you'd turn it down?

again, she's a college girl going to a party to hang out with high school boys. and her own high school was not even near theirs. that's odd.

DP. Assuming that is all true, and applies to all teen girls, is that an justification to then be held down, molested, disrobed, upskirted, and/or raped?

Do you realize how you are actually demeaning young girls with this statement? Do you understand how you are stereotyping private school girls? This may be YOUR experience in YOUR social circles, but to make such a sweeping statement is really demeaning to private school students. It’s repulsive, actually.

Creepy Porn President supporters should not be namecalling the lawyer who defended her instead of sleeping with her while his Porn wife was recovering from child birth.

People, at heart, are self interested and this is not in their self interest.

Kavanaugh however has every reason to lie.

The fact is, any woman who steps forward against anything Trump does is considered a national hero by the media. They truly have nothing to lose.

They are slandered, slut shamed, asked every personal question in the book, called liars, called whores. Sometimes they receive death threats, they have to move their families. Even when they tell WHEN the assault occurs (ie in Ford's case 35 years ago, etc), people don't believe them, their families and friends tell them it wasn't intentional, he didn't mean it, they get shamed and ostracized.

So they, actually, have a lot to lose.

I disagree about the name-calling. I would bet my life that no one could find any reason in Michelle Obama's or Laura Bush's or Condoleeza Rice's or Hillary Clinton's backgrounds to call them any of the terms you mentioned. Why? Because of the way they've conducted themselves. I'm not talking about someone who just throws out a derogatory term. I'm talking about a name that could stick.

People literally have referred to Michelle Obama as an ape.

And if you think that how I've described the reaction to assault victims is exaggerating, just read through this thread. Read the stories of victims since the dawn of time, who have come forward only to be disbelieved and ostracized and shamed. It's one of the most predictable elements of sexual assault.

PP here. I realize M. Obama was called names by pathetic racists. I'm talking about sexual behavior. I don't think any of those women could be called the names bolded above and have it stick.

How do you know they were "high school" parties? Her declaration just says "house parties." In fact, it's more likely the high school boys were going to college parties. My DH who went to Gonzaga at the time used to go to Georgetown Univ parties.

None of them have reported being sexually assaulted, to my knowledge. If they had, they would have been called those names and been dragged. It is a near certainty.

I mean, people use who a victim hires as their LAWYER to decide whether to believe them, whether to call them liars, etc, out of hand.
