I had Bullis winning 13-9. Even at half, Bullis outscored Spalding 4-0 in 3rd quarter, then sort of held on in the 4th.
The Bullis defense is as advertised (goalie, poles, SSDM), as is their issue at face-off. Their best pole took a bunch of them, if that is any indication. Spalding has some skill up front, and goalie played pretty well too. Not sure the middies did enough. Overall, really fun game to watch. Great to see them out playing and competing. Hope all the schools get going too, as lacrosse season in this area is just awesome! |

Is Spaulding on the rise?
Historically they have been towards the bottom of the MIAA, I don’t think they have made miaa playoffs in several years. I’m surprised the game was even close in the first place unless Spaulding is starting to put together a good program. |
