DP. Some people knit as a hobby, some garden or do woodworking, some read, some cook, PP hates on Einstein on DCUM. It's not my idea of a fulfilling hobby, but there's no accounting for taste.

I don't think it seems worse. I think the community has been responding admirably during the pandemic, with the gift cards for groceries and now the food donation drive. The PTSA online meetings with administrators have been really helpful and well-attended (compared to in-person anyway).

I agree with this but I meant for a 9th grader new to the school, not the parent community. They are online so they don’t see the positives of the school, only that she has several terrible teachers and that the school is poorly run.

Every school has some bad teachers. Other schools are better run though.

By bad-mouthing those schools, we hope to boost property values at our school. Sure. I mean it's not like there's any evidence to support these claims but some people might believe it if we say it enough.

Right, and what school is your child going to where none of this has happened? Every school in MCPS has its issue. They don't have enough supervision for the students.

Someone asked for an example, they received 12. Then, of course, you deflect. Is there crime in the W schools or BCC? Sure. In these numbers? NOPE. The only reason you haven't heard about anything bad happening at Einstein is because the school has been closed almost a year.

Certainly you are not seeing the number of incidents from one W school. If you took all incidents at the W high schools involving guns, robbery or rape they wouldn't equal Einstein.
