Actually the opposite. Older players with a role and a club coach who knows them well and can speak on their behalf to a college coach would be foolish to change clubs now for a patch.

Think about showcases? GAL has never hosted a showcase, may not even have the cash to rent a large complex yet. Uncommitted players need to be seen.

Yes. I agree. College coaches are going to skip watching the best players and best teams to go watch VDA.

The best coaches and players are now in GAL? Delusional fcv parents. Who are you going to play? You’re going into a league where your B teams were supposed to play as of a week ago. It’s over. So sorry.

GAL will include the 50+ teams ECNL thought they were going to screw over. ECNL could have done the right thing and chose to pull a power trip. You heard of Tophat? I bet Tophat has never heard of VDA even though VDA played in the GDA for one year holding that last place spot.

.

ECNL must have realized this would happen. They seemed to be more interested in expanding their boys clubs.

Not clear if boys ECNL will ever be as strong as girls ECNL?

Who mentioned VDA? My dd plays for Mclean. My point 500-600 coaches show up at an ECNl event, it is unrealistic to think a start up league can get those numbers

500-600? Come on just say 25,000 if you're going to make crap up.

Almost always 500-600 at ECNL U15-19 event showcases.

Fcv parents brag about other clubs now instead of their own? “Ever heard of tophat?” You live in virginia. A team from Georgia has nothing to do with you.

The topic was what teams will be in the GAL. Try to keep up.

Yes. The best VDA team that lost in the national final. In year 2, vda put a team in a national final. It’s called building a club. How did FCV’s teams do in their national semifinal games?

That was also tophat’s first team.

A year ago Tophat 06 ECNL was their top team. They did not have 06 DA in southeast. Those players are now on their GAL team.
