She is promising free everything for everyone, supposedly to be paid by a magical tax on just a few thousand families.

Please keep proving that repo rank and file have no frigging clue how much money the 1% has. It’s so sad.

and what makes you think you deserve any of it?

What makes you think I’d be getting any of it? What a weird assumption by the way; I know you aren’t the 1%. I kind of suspect you aren’t even in the 5 or 10%.

Unfortunately, Republicans are 90% male and waaaayyyyy too interested in what I do with my vagina and uterus. And what gay people do in bed. But not what pedophiles are up to. So hard pass.

You don't know Republicans too well. Woman here. I could care less what you do with your vagina and uterus. And, many of us (including me) have gay people in our families.

But you'll happily sell them down the river to save a dime on your tax bill. Classy.

Warren will trash Biden. As the field gets smaller, the supporters of other candidates will have to either shift to a survivor or sit out.

Bernie Bros do not go to Biden, no way, they go to Warren. And then she's in the lead by a lot.

Biden *might* get the dregs of Booker and Amy, but that's really it. The rest end up with Warren or sit out.

The 1% is everybody with a family income of over $389,436. About half of DCUM. Pony up peeps.

You’re about a hundred grand off. Also her 2% tax doesn’t kick in until the 50 million dollar mark. That’s 75,000 families.

More RWNJ talking heads inadvertently making ads for Warren.

No bank is afraid of her any more than they were afraid of Hillary.

20,000+ people at her speech tonight. Cue the whiners that “boo hoo New York is so liberal” - let’s see how big Donnie’s crowd in New York would be (not counting the protestors).

I’m already in for her, but I like her more and more. The podium was made from barn boards from Frances Perkins’ house? My god. The team she must have working for her.

Great news!

Tell her to rent the Javits Center!

After she spearheaded the formation of the CFPB? She’s pretty much their worst nightmare.

Does not seem possible according to data cited in the linked article. The article actually states:

The top 0.001 percent had adjusted gross income of at least $59.4 million that tax year. Just 1,412 returns came from those taxpayers.

For your statement to be true, about 73,500 taxpayers would have had to show income of between $50 million and $59.4 million or more than 50 times the number of all taxpayers making over $59.4 million.

Seems implausible, but am open to any links you have supporting your assertion.

Yes because she thinks banks are public utilities for consumers. Am sure HSBC, Paribas and Deutsche would welcome taking on the financing needs of U.S. corporations.

Yikes. I really don't want Warren to be the nominee because I'll have to spend the next year lying to my family and friends, saying that I'll vote for her when I definitely will not.
