Every other club a distant 2nd or worse.

There are a few teams in individual age groups that could hold their own but no club that would win the majority of games against FCV U13-U19.

This isn’t exactly high praise of FCV by the way. Once FCV gets out of the region they fall flat on their face.

What do describe as flat on their face?

Because FCV 05 won one and tied one against strong California teams.

04 won one and lost two.

U16/17 went 1-1-1

U18/19 went 1-1-1

04 looks a little disappointing but they also earlier this year beat a team that qualified for semifinals next week.

U16/17 likely better than expected given they were lowest seed in group and have a few missing playing up.

U18/19 lost last game to get eliminated after only needing a tie - game was close one and only ended up 3-0 late as FCV pushed everyone up to try to score and got burned doing it.

This seems far from falling on their face especially given the very high level opponents being faced and the advantage west coast teams have in terms of travel.

Now the metric is performance against California teams?

The question is whether any of the local ECNL teams could do more than be bottom dwellers in the GDA even the supposedly weak MA GDA division. Other than McLean 00/01 the answer is NO. So if you take pleasure in FCV struggling how do you feel when that struggling FCV would dominate every other team in the area? How bad are these other teams when they get dominated by that struggling FCV team? You sound like a resentful little whiner.

Why don’t Bobby play any scrimmages against the lowly ecnl teams then?

They have. They just don’t advertise it.

DD plays for constantly criticized on this forum team and we have never played fcv but I know our director has tried to set it up.

It is the ranking of VDA in 2nd that is up for debate, not my ranking. I'd put VDA below Arlington and Bethesda. Not by much but no way VDA is in 2nd in the DMV. If they are then the DMV is truly laughable.

Jesus dude. I don't have VDA second. Nobody does but you. You are free to pick out any of the above ranks and critique them. You essentially already have by posting your opinion. I have VDA 3-5th in the region depending. That is where I have them. You have them at 2, why? What is your problem with being asked why you have them at 2nd?

Is there a coaching change? Player/talent influx? Why? Why would a conference 6th place team be 2nd in the DMV?
