why is that? Just because they best Villareal 7-1 ??? It's funny how NPL teams go by this ranking system

I hear McLean is a dumpster fire right now. Lots of girls at other clubs tryouts. Anyone know what’s going?

Why would anyone leave almighty Mclean

You have to follow the thread.... Apparently, McLean is a dumpster fire. Arlington had a terrible season. Loudoun parents have gone off the deep-end.

It's all because some girl lit them all up for 33 goals right after she returned from Stockholm where she collected two Nobel prizes....

Or there's the other possibility.

McLean, having won the NCFC Youth CASL Tournament and the Dulles National Tournament, is doing just fine. https://issuu.com/mcleansoccer/docs/halftime_report_fall_2018_02.05.19-

Arlington, finished as runner-up in the ASIST tournament and is having a solid CCL season, and is doing just fine. https://twitter.com/arlingtonsoccer/status/1123731350752833538

Loudon, won the ASIST tournament, and then won two games at Jeff Cup, and is doing just fine. https://home.gotsoccer.com/rankings/event.aspx?EventID=66907&GroupID=743620

What is beyond a doubt, however, is that people who come on forums to disparage teams of 11-year old girls are really sick, small, and twisted people.

You forgot to mention PWSI having a great season by beating NPL low level teams but lose to mediocre teams. Somehow ranked 2nd?

Exactly. PWSI is a joke.

Are 08 girls all going to Delco this year? Seems the Virginian has no teams worth mentioning, where is PWSI going for a spring tournament?

At least NPL posts scores. Who the hell knows how crappy CCL really is because they won't expose their league as having low quality teams by posting scores that show there are only two good teams.

Innocent crazy bystander soccer parent here. My DD has nothing to with 08s but, PWSI is well deserving of #2 from what I see?!?!? Looks they only have lost to Richmond Strikers and only bad loss, which isn't even bad, is to Bethesda Blue?

Anyone ever think that some of these lower tier clubs actually do produce a good team every few years?

Heck, I do know Coach Gabe from HP Elite, and he is hands down one of the best youth coaches around! It's no surprise to me that the team is good. If I were you, I'd actually leave a bigger club like Loudoun or Arlington just to get a year with Coach Gabe to prepare for DA.

SMH...there is a world outside of Loudoun, FCV, Arlington and McLean, especially at U12 and younger.

Why does PWSI deserve #2 again? Have they played loudoun? Arlington?

PWSI is terrible. They’re not in Fairfax or Loudoun counties. They don’t matter.

Gabe is an excellent coach and trainer. I wouldn't be surprised if this team eats the other two teams' lunches over the next few years. Not in the slightest.

Bethesda Blue won one game in their fall season.

Not sure what you are looking at....Loudoun Red only beat them by 1 goal at ASIST. It is soccer, sometimes good teams lose to bad teams. Not to mention players get injured/sick.

Yeah. A debate that captivated us all. Why would we ever want to think or read about anything else. Obviously hearts and minds are being won and lost on both sides of a daily basis. It’s like Kim vs Khloe. Just amazing stuff.

Per the league website, it seems that NCSL is starting to line up its U12 girls divisions for the fall season. Thus far, there appears to be 10 teams across Divisions 1, 2, and 3. (I don't yet know if there is a Division 4. There was a fourth division in the spring.)

I'll assume that this information isn't finalized and is subject to change, but here's what I've discerned (or flat out guessed) thus far.

Four teams from Division 1 (U11-Spring 2019) aren't listed in **any ** NCSL divisions for the fall. Perhaps these teams are moving to other leagues … or disbanded. It may be possible that these teams will play in another age group within NCSL. Same applies to one team that was Division 2 and three teams that were Division 3 in the spring.

BRYC brings their Elite Academy (or is it Academy Elite) team to NCSL (previously unaffiliated with a league) and were placed in Division 3. Same goes for FC Virginia United (was VPL) and PWSI Classic (was ODSL). There are two other teams now in Division 3 for the fall that have no history that **I** can trace: "Bethesda Academy Orange **06**" (not 08) and LMVS Patriots 2008 Red (not the original Red team that's now at SYC). Perhaps that's LMVSC White (from CCL) that's now designated as Red.

BRYC team is likely 09s playing up. Bethesda 06 has to be a typo. FCV still in NPL, so likely either 09s or a 2nd team of 08s.
