I'm disgusted that teenage girls (because let's face it, it has zero effect on the father) have to have their parents notified in some states if they're having an abortion. The auntienetwork subreddit creeps me out but for a lot of people that sort of thing is the only way.

I think very soon women in red states will wait as long as possible to tell people that they are pregnant.

If you have an early miscarriage, it would be better to keep it a secret so there is no chance that police will arrest you for murder or force you to undergo some kind of invasive procedure to prove that it occurred naturally.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell promises a *national* abortion ban as soon Republicans get power again and NOT ONE WORD in the article about whether this means that women who get abortions will be charged with first-degree murder. The article points out that American women would have to go to Canada to get an abortion but that’s it as far as real-world impact. There is so much more that needs to be figured out. Please, mainstream media, talk about the *law enforcement* side of this. Ask Republicans to explain in detail how the new laws will work. The only way to “ban” something is to make it illegal. It doesn’t just happen magically.
